I dont think that 'record' is as impressive as they think it is....but, whatever. I think the NFL should shorten the season next year (like back then) just so someone can break it or at least tie it. that recored will never be broken even if there were 2 less games. game planning is game planning no matter how you look at it. the patriots got beat in the superbowl because they were outcoached, not because they played 2 more games. all of you guys who are saying that coach should be fired, would be the same guys saying that coach should be fired if peyton would have gotten hurt. the record is selfish, the superbowl is the goal.

i was thinking the same thing doug. i believe the florida record is 9.08 pounds. not sure though. did you weigh that fish or was that a guesstimate? very nice peacock.

1. your jigs look killer. 2. i am with ya on the jig fishing here in forida. the only time i fish a jig is when i swim them through the pads/grass/pencil grass etc. i use a paca chunk and cast to the shore and swim it back to the boat. usually in the spring is when that bite works.

i have used both kietechs, the fat one and the little one. i have caught a ton of fish on both. the only problem i have is the cost. the best swim bait on the market in my opinion is the dipper. hands down that bait catches fish and they usually last for a couple of fish.
