Shane, I'm in holiday circle also...

Stick one for me BF. I missing quite a few Saturday. Man they were biting funny.

I fished Housen, 6mile and Mill Sat (2/27) from 6:30-6:00. Water temp. was 58-60 slightly stained in Housen and 6mile clear in Mill. Ten boated with a swing and a miss on just as many or more. All fish caught on TR creature baits from 2 to 12 FOW. Three fish caught between hay grass and bank and all were males. The better fish were 8-12 FOW.

Sorry for the late report but my son is keeping me busy with baseball and basketball. Fished last Wednesday 2/11 and Thursday 2/12. Wednesday was tough 12 caught with 7 keepers. All caught on TR creature baits adjacent to creek channels in 8-12 fow. The thing I found is there had to be wood on the edge. Thursday was a good day. I friend met me and we fished from 8-6. The day started fasted with a quick 7 fish and then slowed. Then picked up again around 3pm. In all we caught 25-30 fish with the biggest around 3.5 lbs. Areas fished were adjacent to creeks in Housan and a hump 6-mile. We used the same pattern as Wednesday except for a few fish on spinnerbaits over grass. I did see a guy flipping hay grass catch a nice one in 6-mile. I should be up next weekend. Good luck everyone.

I fished Housen Friday and what a difference one day makes. I boated five fish with 2.5 being the biggest. I fished the same pattern as the days before. I will be up next week and will report. Good luck everyone.

I fished Housen today from 9-5 and caught 15. I fished the front 1/3 of cove. All fish caught on TR and CR with baby brush hogs and senkos. Again adjacent to creek channels in 8-12 fow. Best five was 21-22 lbs with a 8# kicker.

I fished Housen yesterday from 9-5. Only boated 12 fish with a 4 lber the biggest. I dropped one at the boat between 7-8 lbs. All fish caught on TR junebug baby brush hog in 12-18 fow adjacent to creek channels. I fished 6 mile and Housen today with 2 fish caught. It was rough and tough. I will be at them again tomorrow.

Were y'all fishing north or south of P bridge?

BF Humminbird has released lake master card with HD from, I think, Lowes down to the dam and up to Pleasure point on the La side. It's just the coves and mouths of them. Nothing in the middle of main lake. MG

Yep, my wife can't grasp why I love fishing the bend when there are so many fisheries around the house. lol

Its been awhile since I've been to the lake (3months) way to long. I brought my 10 year old son fishing Thursday from 12 to 5pm. He caught his first TR bass in 20fow. I concentrated on secondary point in 18 to 22 fow adjacent to grass. We fished 3/16oz TR with watermelon/red baby brushhogs. 18 fish total with a 4# and 6# kicker. All but one was a keeper. I fished a little different. I positioned my boat in 12 to 15 fow and casted to 18 to 22. All fish bit when the bait was still. We had a great time. Keep the reports coming and I will do the same. BF said they are stacked and I found the same thing. If you get bit slowdown and fish the area. Be Safe Marcel

I had another hard time finding them yesterday. I fished Housen and 6-mile from 7am to 3pm. Water temp was 48 in the morning and 51 in the afternoon. Wind out the north bad bad in the afternoon. Water clarity was good in both coves. All fish (4 total) were caught in Housen on red one knocker RT in 6 to 10 fow. All fish were two to three pounder. No fish on jigs, TR creature baits and CR senko. Fish were on flats in isolated grass patches. I fished the front 1/3 of coves. This will be my last report for awhile. I'm starting a 2 month turnaround Sunday. Good luck everyone and be safe. mguidroz

I fished Sunday (2/8) 7am to 5pm. I fished Housen, 6-mile and mill. Water temp was 52 to 54 in Housen and 6-mile, Mill was 51 so I didn't stay there long. Water clarity was stained in the back and clearer at the mouth. 16 fish with 6 keepers fishing 8 to 12 fow (TR creature baits). The majority of the fish caught were associated with a creek channel and wood. The wind was not my friend Sunday.... I've finally purchased a camp at 6-mile. So if I can make it to the gathering in March, I will glad to help out with lodging. Mguidroz
