  1. Congrats Cat
  2. I fished Saturday from 7am to 1pm. I started at the mouth of Bull and had 8 fish before 9am. I was fishing the edge of a creek channel in 10-15 fow. The edge of the channel had to have stumps or some type of wood to get bit. The bite was real light. Then they just turned off or I didn't make the right adjustments. I moved to the mouth of Housen where there are a few humps on the south side (nothing). Finished up on a few ridges on 6-mile (nothing). All fish were caught on a TR 7" green pumpkin thumper worm with 3/16oz weight.
  3. Catt From the high lines would you follow the creek in or toward the mouth? Thanks
  4. Full moon, anyone night fishing?
  5. Catt what happened to the learning section?
  6. Blaster, let me finish these 7/12s and I will take you fishing. I should be done with them early to mid August.
  7. My report from last Friday and Sat night. We caught around 20 fish Friday night and 10 Saturday night. Friday we fished Community again and main lake points / humps at the mouth of Housen (south side). The same as before TR ole monsters / wild things in 12-20 FOW. Nothing over 3.5#. Saturday we run south to the TX islands and Mill. We fishing main lake and secondary points 10-20 FOW. We caught one fish on a CB, nothing on jigs or CR and the rest were TX.
  8. I fished last night from 8pm to 2am. Caught 20+ with an 8.2 kicker. I stayed offshore in 12-20 feet. Tx rig was the ticket with red and June bug 10.5” wild thing worms. 3/8 oz weight due to the wind. I fished the secondary points on community and Indian mounts. Going back tonight and will report. Y’all be safe.
  9. I don't mine fishing that ole dirty water in mid lake. lol
  10. Its been years since I've fished north of Pendleton but I'm sure we can manage.
  11. That's not good. I hope you get well soon. If the doctor releases you from bed rest message me and I will take you fishing.
  12. This is my 6th week on nights. I should be at the lake next weekend and will report. You will not see me fishing during daylight too hot. Plus there is a full moon on the 28th.
  13. Dang I missed. Did you fish the hump at the mouth? I’ve done well there.
  14. Let me guess, the wind was out of the south southeast, so you fished the south bank of Housen from F&F to the back.
  15. Ok, here's my report from last weekend and yes the lake was full of boats Sat even with BBS on Rayburn. I fish Housen and 6-mile Sat. 10-15 fish caught on chatterbaits and TR ole monster in 8-10 FOW. The better fish came off of wood on humps and points and ridges. Best 5 went around 18lbs. Sunday the wind was hollowing out of the north. I fished about 5 hours with only 3 caught. All on TX ole monster. A buddy of mine fished Sat/Sun and had 20+ pounds both days before lunch. I should have went with him....
  16. I hope so but there is a tournament out of Fin and Feather.
  17. I'm finally heading to the Bend this weekend. I will be fishing around 6-mile and Housen with the other 10000 boats. I will post a report good or bad. Y'all be safe out there.
  18. I told my wife the same and she said the same think about shopping. City Women
  19. Nice bag... Nothing like fishing with your sons.
  20. A made a quick one day trip yesterday (2/23). I fished Housen / 6 mile and caught 13. All fish were caught in 8-12 fow on c-rig (5" Yum Dinger), jigs and tx-rig (green pumpkin). I fished secondary point with channel swings adjacent to the points. All points had to have wood on them to get bit. With the tx-rig and jig, it seemed, you had to hit the wood and them just shake the bait and they would nearly put the rod out your hand. The c-rig was fished slow, drag into the cover and let it sit. The boat traffic was heavy for a Thursday. I hate to see it on the weekends. Go luck everyone and be safe.....
  21. Well I didn't get to fish much but had a great time with the family. I fished in Bull (front 1/3) and the south side of Housen near the mouth Sat. from 7:30am-2:00pm. The water temp. was 62-64 in Bull and 55-56 at the mouth. 15-20 fish caught on rattle traps and TR baby brush hogs. The biggest was 6lbs caught at the mouth in 15'. The majority were caught in 4-8 feet.
  22. I don't fish there much but I believe there are a few humps just north of the launch. You can also try the LA inlands and Army rec cove...
  23. Thanks RonnieF and same to you. If y'all see a blue and white (black bottom) Phoenix stop by and said hi. I will be there Friday evening to Sunday. Catt what about BULL?
  24. Heading up tomorrow after work with the family. We are staying at Fin & Feather.....so you know where I will be fishing. I don't plan on leaving the cove. I will post report. Y'all be safe and good luck.
  25. I heard there were 4 people on the platform and all were rescued without injuries.
