  2. Catt, I should know something (work) by the end of the month. mguidroz
  3. Many Boy, you know someone is catching them somewhere on the lake. It just wasn't my weekend. Oh well, I'll do some more homework and hit it again.... Mguidroz
  4. Fishing Report I fished Housen and six-mile Sat and half a day Sunday. I had three bites no fish, zero, nothing. I fished a 1/2oz jig and 1/4oz TR creature baits on break lines in 12 to 25 fow. The three bites I had were associated with wood in 17 fow. Housen water temp was 46 to 50 muddy in the back and slightly stained at the month. Six-mile was the same with high line cove having the best water clarity. Anyway it was a nice weekend to be on the water and hope to get back soon. Mguidroz
  5. I will be there if I don't have to work. I'm awaiting our turnaround schedule at the refinery. I may have to play hooky....lol Mguidroz
  6. Thanks for the report JWare. I should be there this weekend and will give a update. As of now the weather look pretty stable and a warming trend for the weekend. Mguidroz

  8. JW welcome to the group. I haven't been on the lake in a month or so but I'm sure someone has in the group. Good Luck in the tournament.

  10. Heading up this weekend. What do y'all think them bass will be doing? Sounds like I will start on grassline in 15'.
  11. Any hints on what type of structure and depth they were fishing?
  12. Did anyone read the article in the Louisiana Sportsman about a Many,La angler with 40.45# out of Six Mile. That is CRAZY....
  13. No, the friend I took has never punched before so we fished the outside line. I just wanted him to catch a few fish.
  14. Yes Catt the wind was blowing this weekend. Sat 11/1 Wind out of the NE, water temp 68 to 71. Fished Housen from 8am to 4pm. 14 fish with 9 keepers biggest 3#. All on TR 3/16-1/4 - 7" SK thumper worm. 14' to 16' outside line of grass adjacent to creek channel. All strikes were when you let the worm just sit. Sun 11/2 Wind out of the SE, water temp 68 to 70. Fished Housen and Mill from 9am to 3pm. 12 fish with 7 keepers biggest 2.75#. The same as Saturday.
  15. Thanks Catt and ***atic, I will give a update next week.
  16. I'm heading to the lake in the morning. Any suggestion besides dress warm...
  17. Anyone, what do ya'll think cold front prior to the weekend will do to them. Thanks
  18. ***atic, what was the water temp?
  19. Thank you BF. I fished Thursday (10/9) and Friday (10/10). Thursday was more scouting and locating fish since my last trip was months ago (fall baseball). I started in Mill, then 6-mile and last but not least housen. I fished creek channels with grass lines next to it. Most productive lure was 7" Watermelon Red thumper worm TR 3/16oz. I fished the outside grass line, adjacent to creek, 15 to 20 fow. Thursday 7am to 8pm Water temp 76 to 80 deg, mostly cloudy - 11 fish with 3# the biggest. Friday Noon to 11pm Water temp the same, mostly sunny - 12 fish best 5 when around 25# to 26#. I caught the 11.27# at 8:30pm in housen off of a creek bend. After I weighted her at F&F, I fished for another hour or so and caught a 6#.
  20. Catt, It's great to have you back. Everything is great. My last trip to the Bend, I landed a new PB 11.27. I will give more details when I have more time.
  21. Cajunpapi, it's good to hear from you. I've been baseballing it also and haven't fished in over 80 days. I should be at the lake Wednesday evening until Saturday. If you will be up there we can get together. Take care.
