Personal Experience With Tatula Or Mid-Range Lews?
I can't compare to the LEWS but I will say that the Tatula is an awesome reel. I will say that I LOVE and would choose my Tatula over the Daiwa T3 Ballistic any day of the week.

Cold Water Jig Trailers
Missile Baits D Bomb is the only trailer/plastic that has gotten me fish this winter. I'm quickly becoming a huge Missile Baits fan.

The Rod Fairy Showed Up...
The rod fairy MUST be busy... because she dropped off 2 St. Croix Rage rods at my house too... too bad one of them broke in the shipping process...

What To Add Next
I would say you're off to a decent start. I would spend more cash on a setup that you would use for you're favorite technique. Put the 5:4.1 reel on your crank bait rod for sure.

What's My Next Rod? Help!
RW thank you for your recommendation. I picked up the exact rod you suggested and it feels unbelievable in your hands. It is unreal how light this rod is... it's so light I'm scared it's going to break on a big fish! I have a St. Croix LTB MM ($250) and it's going to be fun comparing the two; so far the St. Croix seems to have more backbone, but I'll have a better comparison this Saturday when I get on the water.

What's My Next Rod? Help!
Thank you so much RW! I actually picked this rod up on Friday and fell in love with it.... I should have pulled the trigger then. I hope it's still there today!

What's My Next Rod? Help!
Thanks RW! Is he talking about a MM or a MHM? I'm really excited to buy one of these rods. Especially after reading so many good reviews on BR.

What's My Next Rod? Help!
Hey fellas, There's a fishing expo where I love right now and they are selling Pinnacle Perfextas for 40% off! I have been reading about these rods and would just love to purchase one to try out. What would you guys recommend I get next? Spinnerbait rod? Soft plastics rod? I'm not a really big jerk bait fisherman so I'm not really interested in a jerk bait rod. I'm also a fan of micro guides but I don't mind the regular Perfectas without the micros... I say this because they offer different actions in each style... This is my arsenal: Crankbaits/Lipless Crankbaits: Rod: St. Croix Premier 7' MHM Reel: Abu Garcia Revo SX 6.4:1 Line: 10lb Seaguar Invisx Fluorocarbon Small Crankbaits/Plastics Rod: St. Croix Legend Tournament Bass 7'2" Medium Moderate Reel: Shimano Chronarch 201e6 6.4:1 Line: 12lb Seaguar Tatsu Flourocarbon Shaky Head/Worms/Dropshot Rod: St. Croix Rage 6'8" Medium Extra Fast Reel: Shimano Sahara FE 2500 6.2:1 Line: 12lb Seaguar Tatsu Fluorocarbon Frogging/Punching/Jigs in Heavy Cover Rod: St. Croix Rage 7'4" Heavy Fast Reel: Daiwa Tatula 6.4:1 Line: 65lb Suffix 832 Braid Jigs Rod: *** *** 7'1" Medium Heavy Fast Reel: Daiwa T3 Ballistic 8.1:1 Line: 20lb Seguar Abraizx Fluorocarbon

Line Diameter Advice For Spinning Reels
Hey fellas, I have a question about putting 12lb Tatsu FC line on a 2500 spinning reel if it is the same line diameter as 8lb Berkley Trilene 100% Fluorocarbon. I ask this because I plan on using this reel on a St. Croix Rage 6'8" MXF rod and I plan to use this rod for drop shots, worms, and stick baits. A lot of guys run 8lb line on this setup, but if Tatsu is rated at 12lb and has a smaller diameter than most lines will it affect my lures action in anyway? I only ask this cause I bought 3 spools of 12lb Tatsu while TW had a sale going on, so this would save me some money from having to order to more line. What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance, Sam

Favorite Jig Trailers?
I love Rage Craws, DB Craws, and my favorite Missile Baits D Bombs. I just bought like 8 packs of Berkley Havoc Ikes Devil Spear and I'm hoping to try these out soon.

Straight Shank Flippin/pitchin Hooks
I've tried both the VMC and the Trokar flipping hooks and I have the say the Trokar is way better. Yes they are expensive, but they are just so much sharper. I ordered 4 packs of 15 5/0 Trokar dipping hooks while Tackle Warehouse had a sale... Once I runs out of these though, I'll probably go to VMC.

St. Croix Rage Rod Review
I recently ordered 2 Rage rods and I'm eagerly awaiting for them to come in. I picked up a 6'8" MXF and a 7'4" HF

Daiwa Tatula Casting Rods
Not to hijack this thread... But can anyone compare this rod to the Pinnicale Perfecta rods? I'm torn between getting one of these 2 rods next

Seaguar Abrazx And Invisx
My review may be a little biased, but here are my $.02. I've used 10lb Invisx, 20lb Abriazx, and 12lb Tatsu and since the Abriazx is double the line diameter it behaves differently. The Invisx at 10lbs has a lot of stretch compared to 12lb Tatsu; A LOT more. A lot of people agree that Invisx has a lot of stretch which is why I use it for cranking. It has line memory but after some use on the water it disappears and isn't annoying. My 20lb Abriazx is very stiff, but has no stretch from what I can tell. It also has a lot of line memory even with KVD LL. I will probably go with 17lbs next time I spool up my jig rod. I haven't tried 20lb FC with other brands yet so I can't give you much here. Tatsu... it's in a different category. This stuff rocks. If I were you, I would get a spool of this and just use backing to save yourself some money.

Beaver Style Plastics
I have found most of my confidence to come from Sweet Beavers and d Bombs. I just ordered a bunch of Berkley Havoc Ike Devil Spears and I'm hoping to build confidence with these since they are very versatile baits.

Question Regarding Zoom Trickworms.
What RoLo said. I bought the originals thinking they would float, but they do I fact have salt, just not a lot. If you bite one in half you will taste the salt and see some in there. The originals have a slower sinking rate.

Siebert Outdoors Jigs
I just ordered 10 Big O jigs to try out and I'm pumped to try them out.

What Are You Going To Work On Next Year?
I really want to work on crank baits and fishing deep (15+ ft) of water. I am usually a bank fisherman so I'm not accustomed to finding fish that deep. Now I'm on the bass fishing team at my school and they sometimes catch fish deep and it's awesome to see it, but I have no confidence myself to catch fish that deep. I caught one fish at 16ft under a bridge and was shocked!
