  1. Stick with Costas man... Oakley doesn't have anything on them
  2. Berkley Trilene XL 100% FC that they just came out with--specifically designed for spinning rods. I bought some in 8 lbs and I love it more than the Seguar Ivisix I had on there before. It does have line memory but not as bad as Invisix. I also put KVD L&L on there so that helps a lot.
  3. Missile Baits D Bomb... I bought those while it was "cold" here in NC and I couldn't wait any longer so I went fishing in 40 degree weather to try them out. It was the only bait I caught fish on that day... I tried Senkos and Rage Craws, but nothing seem to get hits except that D Bomb. I can't wait for the water to start warming up here in NC to try out a ton of Missile Baits with good weather.
  4. That Missile Baits Warlock shaky head really is awesome. It comes through cover really well and makes that bait float and stand up perfectly. I haven't tried the Mega Strike ones yet, but I plan to try those out as well..
  5. I need to "guard my heart" haha... I just put in an $80+ order on Siebert Outdoor Jigs and now want to try these. I'm so in love with Siebert Outdoor jigs... maybe I won't even try them--I want to stay loyal; Mike Siebert is a nice guy.
  6. I feel your pain... I put in a $50 order yesterday. Ha
  7. I really like Dave's tournament Tackle shake heads in Jamestown NC and Missile Baits Warlock shaky heads. I chose them over using a jig because the shay heads I buy have a screw lock to hold the plastics. My preferred plastics are Missile Baits Fuse 4.4, Baby D Bomb and any worm without salt.
  8. I like flaring my weedgaurd out to the sides some--making it a little easier to set the hook--other than that not really... I know some people put super glue on the bottom the weedgaurd and other trim it.
  9. I decked out my girlfriend's car with rose pedals, flowers, balloons, and chocolate!
  10. Flipping Hooks: Trokar and VMC Plastics: VMC and Gamakatsu Treble hooks: Gamakatsu Everything else: Gamakatsu or VMC
  11. 1. Missile Baits D Bomb 2. Missile Baits Fuse 4.4 on a Shaky head 3. 1/2oz Siebert Outdoors Big O Jig 4. KVD Silent Square Bill 5. SPRO Little John crankbait
  12. I would get another 7' or above MHF for pitching your jigs or t-rigs and use the other one for spinnerbaits or t-rigs. That way you have a bulkier profile (jig) and a more finesse t-rig on at the same time. My best advice is to get another rod for your favorite technique and use the rest for whatever.
  13. Love these: Missile Baits D Bomb RI Sweet Beaver Damiki Knockout Trying these: Caraway Creek Custom Baits Flippin Craw D&M Custom Baits Flippin Craw I just out in a order with Caraway Creek and D&M to try out their creature baits. I'm a huge feature bait fisherman-- I throw it 90% of the time.
  14. Could you let me know how those work out for you? I would purchase them now, but I already purchased 4 bags of 15 pack Trokar 5/0 flipping hooks! Haha needless to say I'm set for awhile but I'm always down to try other things.
  15. Seaguar Tatsu! I'm trying out the new Berkley 100% Flourocarbon XL and I seem to really like it so far.
  16. Have any of you guys tried their line of tackle? Just curious as to what you like and why you like it over another brand? I recently ordered a couple of magnum punch skirts from D&M Custom Baits and I'm really impressed. I like how it is thicker and longer than a Paycheck Punch Skirt. I haven't tested it out yet, but I'm sure it will be a great punch skirt. The D&M Mag. Punch Skirt also comes with inserts if you so choose to put them in. What I like about that is that you have the option to put the skirt on with the insert or not--allowing you to use the skirt without the insert will let you slip it on and off a punch setup if the fish are being finicky. I just put in an order to also try out their punch craws--I'll give you guys an update on those when I get out on the water. Left: D&M Custom Baits Right: Paycheck
  17. I really like to use a 7'MM rod! It really loads up well and allows me to put less effort in the cast.
  18. Punching Reel: Diawa T3 Baliistic 8.1:1 with 65 832 braid Pitching Reel: Daiwa Tatula 7.3:1 with 20lb Seaguar Abraizx
  19. I just bought some of this line in 8lbs to put onto my 2500 Sahara and just the feeling of it seemed different than Seaguar invisix-in a good way. I'm really excited to get out on the water and test this line out. I can't compare it to Sunline, I will be comparing it to Seagaur Invisx and Tatsu. Thanks for giving us your thoughts, hopefully I can give you guys a Seaguar comparison soon.
  20. I feel your pain... I would have ordered a high doped left hand but they were sold out. I ordered a Diawa Tatula instead.... Great reel for the money... But it ain't no Shimano!
  21. 1. Missile Baits D Bomb 2. Missile Baits Baby D Bomb 3. Missile Baits Missile Craw 4. Missile Baits Fuse 4.4. 5. Siebert Outdoors 1/2oz Big O Brush Jig 6. Senkos 7. SPRO Frog 8. SPRO John Crews Cranks 9. SPRO Aruku Lipless Cranks 10. Berkley Havoc Devils Spear
