  1. good search engine optimization will get you on top of google searches....if i was good at SEO i would help you but i havent figured out how to get high on the searches yet lol
  2. looks great! i would fish it for sure
  3. i had 2 of these some years ago and they were pretty good and i would buy again if i needed a baitcaster...i had 2 of the 400s
  4. i took my brother bottom fishing a week or so ago and he forgot to flip the bail before he set up...kinda sucked getting that backlash out but i couldnt stop laughing lol
  5. they can last surprisingly long out of the water but you should get them back as quickly as possible...just if you do hold them out for an extended time make sure to hold them a bit flushing water over the gills for longer than you normally would
  6. amber/copper are good for low light....grey and brown are pretty good for high light
  7. most of the people i know that have roofing businesses also do other kind of contractor work too...maybe you should go that route to keep busy on the rainy/dead days or weeks
  8. my advice would be to (if you dont have a packing system) to get some plastic bags and make some stickers with your name logo whatever you use...now i dont know how good you are with computers but you could make a website and sell them from there nationwide pretty easily and you can get hosting for $4-10 a month no problem then give your website address to anyone who will take it haha....some forums will even let you put the address in your forum signature
  9. ill use anything that looks good
  10. i live near sirsnookalot and i also store in garage with no problems
  11. the dicks like 5 mins from me has about 15 isles of fishing stuff and holds most of what i use...gander is like 20 mins away and has a ton of stuff but they are a bit expensive now bps is about an hour away and when i go there i can easily spend 3-4 hours looking at everything lol
  12. oh yes ALWAYS lock up your rods and all if you leave them i usually go fishing with a friend and i have a 2 seat truck so when we go in a store or something they always go inside the cab...too many clowns around here but even so better to be safe than sorry and 2 mins to put them inside is well worth it
  13. thats because great minds think alike hahahaha
  14. the reason you hardly find them on sale and usually at the same price everywhere is because companies like shimano tell the stores that sell their products what price they have to sell it at to keep all their distributors happy
  15. the owl thing might work well any kind of predatory bird like a hawk would work lol or you could shoot them and eat them...free food and the meat is very lean lol
  16. man that sucks but i got a fortune cookie tonight and inside it says "it is most enjoyable to talk with you." so maybe when you read this youll be happy lol
  17. lol careful going tip first too i have had it happen that way too...sounds like its time to junk the screen door lol
  18. they are the best when they are beat up like that hahahaha....at the spillway i fish at we smack flairhawks in the ground to dent up the heads and it seems to get more hits lol
  19. i just lay them with the tips laying on the tailgate and have no problems...just keep them away from the sides of the tailgate cause if they get caught in there you could break them ALSO! dont close the tips in the tailgate like bill dance hahahaha
  20. the tape thing is a good idea and also just find some of the cheapest mono you can no matter what kind it is and use that to learn before you put braid....if you can find some spools on a nice sale is perfect then you can respool a bunch and not waste a lot although i find braid to be easier to get backlashes out and even wind knots too
  21. yeap i use this technique all the time...one of the places i fish has a fence that likes to take baits and not give them back so in order to not get the fence in the wind you have the stop the line right before your bait hits the water so it pulls on the line then you have to pull your rod tip down fast works very well even when the wind is blowing so hard that it does it with a weighted bait lol
  22. oh man stick them in a livewell and bring them down to florida for me lol snook would be on them like flies on s**t
  23. haha i fill the whole spool with powerpro usually and put a 10 yard backing and then when i dont like the top half of the line anymore i pull it all off and respool the old top line on the bottom then i have fresh line again and dont have to worry about 1 more spool of line laying around lol
