  1. wow man that sucks about the not landing but excellent you all got to fight them and very nice cuda! guess ill be hitting up the inlets this weekend sounds like its pretty good
  2. you should lose fat not weight...if you lose the weight but you lose only muscle then its still no good...make sure to eat lots of fiber too it will keep hunger away longer...also eat about 12-16 servings of fruits and veggies a day but watch out cause you will have TONS of energy (vegetables are complex carbohydrates and thats what gives you the lasting energy) and after eating that much fruits and vegetables daily you really wont mind having a small piece of meat or so for dinner lol also make sure you eat healthy because exercise without eating healthy wont help you lose fat...by the way i started eating healthy 6-8 months ago and im down 60lbs but i still have another 50lbs to go to make my 230lb goal but really try the fruits and veggy thing you might not notice at first but after a few days youll notice you are not lazy to do anything at all haha edit: oh and good luck!
  3. there is a small lake in wellington florida that holds lots of 2lb bluegills (you can get to the lake on flying cow road its near the gate for the wildlife preserve) and that are that deep purple/blue color also and they hit skitterwalks/spooks haha
  4. you can build a hand wrapper for cheap and then you just need a brush or spatula, some small mixing cups(unless you decide to use a one part finish), razors, china pencil, reamers(can make at home or buy), like a scotchbrite pad and 2 files as far as tools go then some threads in the colors you want, some tip glue, thread finish, tape/rubber bands and rod bond then you can buy your blank, grips, reel seat, guides, butt cap, winding check and tip top and youll have all you need to get that first rod built really if you get the smallest size of everything(thread finish, rod bond etc youll have enough supply to do a few rods no problem even with practicing
  5. the green mirror is amber/copper on the inside and green mirror on the outside https://www.costadelmar.com/perform/color click each color and it will tell you what its good for and what color is on the inside and outside like the green mirror has a copper/amber inside so when you look through it its amber not green and the blue mirror is grey inside etc
  6. i like lighter reels when possible because when i go fishing its usually for 8-12 hours and working a heavy rod and reel the whole time isnt fun when its too heavy
  7. just get the reel you like....if its a fast reel and you want to move the bait slow dont turn the handle as fast lol
  8. there is a better way but you have to be licensed to relocate them here and its not so easy to get the license....i thought it was messed up too but i dont have the 20k sitting around to pay a fine if i got caught lol...cant shoot guns in the city i worked either so was either that or take a chance on getting bit and catching whatever they have (and they carry lots and lots of diseases etc)
  9. i would get another job asap...i have found that its not worth killing yourself and there are easier less time consuming ways to make the same or more money than you do now
  10. oh yes i can vouch for the loud annoying peacocks...some farmer had some about a mile away from my grandmas house and all day long you could hear them...from a mile away......... and from a long way it sounds like someone yelling help lol
  11. i use shimano needle nose pliers....nice pliers with a line cutter built in
  12. definately check out google earth in the area you will move to...i have found plenty of lakes i had no idea were there even living in the same area for 29 years lol and if you move to palm beach ill tell you a spot thats excellent for giant snook in july/august(20+ lbers all the time) and you dont need a boat
  13. with swim baits i like a straight retrieve also but every couple of reel turns i will pause for a 1 count and it seems to get hits better than without the pause
  14. good luck man hope you catch a bunch of big ones
  15. yeah 700 hits a month is pretty low but you have to start with something....google analytics is pretty good to track how things are going...read up on Search Engine Optimization and search for the stuff you sell and see how far down on the search you are...if you are low you need to redo your tags and such and when you get to like the top 3 or 4 on searches your business should take off no problem...also have a site index so googles crawlers can do their job and put you on top also what is your website make it as easy as possible to navigate it...if someone has to click 20 times to find where to buy something then they will lose interest before they buy and move on...also if you havent already get on facebook and twitter and check out some fishing groups and add lotssssss of people and then start advertising on your facebook/twitter you could also make short videos and put them on youtube and put google adsense on them and get paid per view while also advertising your site and everything else
  16. lol sounds like a friend to me he came over to help you with your mouse problem snake b gone should do it for you...at the condo i used to work for we used it and never saw snakes...put a bird feeder in your yard the birds will help take care of the snakes too or you could get you a ratel lol they will eat all your poisonous snakes without being harmed lol
  17. haha ive heard them called everythinggggg...guides, eyes, eyelids now lol, rings, circle things i hope you didnt take my post as a insult or anything i just get lazy to type at times lol
  18. my brother just bought a deep cycle from walmart an everstart and it was like $90....cheapish but at the factory the only thing different is the name on the battery
  19. i like my costas in green mirror for sandy bottoms inshore and blue mirror for offshore/freshwater
  20. i like to use a green back with white bottom slugo and a small bullet weight and just jerk it through
  21. i never really buy anything often so i never get the evil eye usually i dont have a problem with her spending so when i buy once in a blue moon shes ok now little stuff like some baits or so she doesnt mind at all
  22. nice backpack! and the glasses arent bad either tan should be good for you i like brown for freshwater and is almost the same thing either way hope you catch some fish and ty for your service
  23. i would check out the shimano torium instead...you can get like a 16 or 20 and be better off for the same price or a little cheaper...doesnt have a level wind though if you are wanting one but you will cast further without one and its not hard to learn to use without.....if you want more distance level the line at a decent angle instead of trying to get each wrap next to each other the line will peel off the reel faster like that i have some of the shimano baitrunners (the old version) and they are beasts and only $110 if you can find them(mostly on ebay but still new in box)
  24. i have caught them using a chunk of crab and mirrolures but there arent very many reds in my area
  25. lol after reading that power loading it i pictured in my head and seen the boat going through the back window or so lol...haha and i too have a ranger
