  1. depends really....there are some good quality reels at $100 and there are bad ones at $100 my lowest price reel is $60 shimano sedona and its fine so far(couple months old) and it gets fished regularly in saltwater...i also have $400+ reels that have lasted 10 years or more and been through hell without having to be cleaned or lubed (saltwater use mostly and never rinsed and regularly dropped in the sand and water haha...if my reels cant handle the hell i put them through then i change till i find some that will )
  2. lol i have 2 boats and i hardly use them ....its too much work and you can do just as good from land you just have to figure what works thats all

  4. here in florida you can report poachers and if they get convicted the FWC will you give you a money reward....did it a few times and got a couple hundred bucks lol...a friends sister works for the FWC and hes reported many poachers and gotten around $1200...mostly we report for poaching snook
  5. thats one of the fish on my list a rooster fish
  6. this is the same thing you are talking about though...do you think you deserve special treatment because you are on land? im a mostly land fisherman...the only time i use a boat is when i want to get some place that i cant from land which is not very often(also cause im lazy to get the boat out and put it back hahaha) hell sometimes when a boat rips through or stops it makes the fishing better...i do it to my friend all the time i get him to walk ahead of me and make his casts then i cast the same spot and slay them all day while he catches 1 or 2 the whole day using the same bait
  7. well guess its good cause you dont need a boat to fish the good part of the lake lol....but really being in a boat doesnt = catching fish so they have to go where the fish go
  8. my dad is the exact same lol
  9. what was in the box? rods arent so cheap to mail...and when you offer free shipping either they take a hit on their margins or something else takes a hit or they spread it into the price of the products
  10. lol im sorry but if im a sponsor and you plug someones bait that isnt sponsored by you and im paying you for the same thing im going to be mad lol....and really who wants to plug a bait for someone that isnt paying their bills over someone that is?
  11. more known i think roland martin but you should get who you prefer because its yours
  12. ive got a minn kota thats about 12 years old or more lol....ive seen gas powered trolling motors and im thinking about one for my john boat to go with the elec(im 300lbs so needs to be pretty light or ill sink hahaha)
  13. wood holds up great just seal it with like thompsons water seal or so....we did that and painted some wood and its now the transom on my john boat...we treated it and painted it one time and so far its still holding up great 6 years later...not sure if makes a difference but it only sees saltwater use...well besides the boat being uncovered in my back yard lol
  14. and the google ads on top and bottom are probably paid by pay per click
  15. peacocks are aggressive so youll probably get a lot of baits torn up fishing for them...thats why i use small crank baits usually they can hit them all day and survive lol
  16. i use braid for everything and honestly other than a leader in saltwater you couldnt pay me to use mono/flouro
  17. buzzbaits are killer i really dont know why more people dont use them more often
  18. i use this one its nice and light and protects good and is not so expensive http://www.campmor.com/columbia-sportswear-bug-cachalot-hat.shtml?source=CI&ci_sku=72276BCN&ci_gpa=pla&ci_kw=
  19. for freshwater i have 2 canals and a lake that i could walk to all of them in about 1 minute...they are all same distance just different directions for saltwater thats a tough one...i love fishing the jupiter inlet and also the lake worth spillway and the jupiter inlet is about 40 mins or so away...the lake worth spillway is about 20 minutes away other than that i dont have a problem driving 4 or 5 hours one way for a spot if the wife will let me haha
  20. lol im happy im not scared of ghosts but if they can hurt you im sure ill be dead haha...i would have said sure come on in the floor needs sweeped and mopped and the dishes cleaned so move your ass lol
  21. awesome catches
  22. yeah we fish for them sometimes mostly get bulls though...but been swimming with them a lot and only times we have had problems with them and bulls is when spear fishing/beach fishing and they try to eat our fish lol...other than that they are usually just cruising by usually when we see them fishing we are on the flats but usually those are lemon sharks as long as you dont get crazy around them or make them curious of you is not bad...we dont try to feed them or touch them and i understand if i get bit that im in their place and they use their mouth to figure out what stuff they are seeing is
  23. well you know physicians are the #1 killers in the world lol....you may want to have a chat with a chiropractor he might be able to help you with the herniated discs and such without bothering the rest of the stuff just let them know everything (they dont just do normal things you would think like manipulating back and stuff they also do ultrasound stuff and many other things that might help that normal doctors and such dont do)
