this happened to my mother at a jiffy lube...she went in for an oil change and they came back with a $500 bill lol...they said her alternator was bad so they changed it during the oil change and tried to charge her $500 for it

seems funny to me too that the control arms would need to be replaced unless the ball joint is molded into the arm or something which i havent really seen...and really you can go down to autozone or most other auto parts stores and they will loan you tools for free just put a deposit also the way mechanics work is they have a book and it says how many hours each job should take..thats how much they charge but they usually dont account for the fact that they will already have everything off so they can replace multiple parts at the same time saving a lot of time

in that case a drunk guys reaction time is pretty slow he could fish a frog all day and never miss a fish hahaha

get another opinion and if you do need all that get the control arms with ball joints already in them and check out rockauto.com because wow 3k for a couple hours job is crazy i would do it myself and get the alignment close and take it to a shop just for alignment edit: checked rock auto and you are looking at around $650 shipped for parts lol

personally i think college is worthless....it doesnt make you stand out from other people and you dont even have to learn anything to succeed in college why not start your own business and get the family in on it?

i usually dont bring home anything except a snook sometimes or some snapper or so...usually we buy a lot of dolphin and some salmon

it really depends on the rod, reel and weight on throwing....also whether the reel has a level wind or not(non levelwind reels can cast further and you can lay the line on more at an angle to get it to peel off the reel faster) etc etc...not sure when im bass fishing but flats fishing im using an 8ft rod with a fast action that will throw more than 40 yards and surf casting we are using 13 or 14ft rods and non levelwind reels hitting over 100 yards easy (all are also custom rods) we know we are casting these distances cause we used to mess around on soccer fields with line counters and those wheel counters that electricians and such use

lol i grab a couple lures and pliers and throw my pole in the back of the truck and head out but then again i fish pretty much everyday

ive fished some courses they didnt care and some they just told us to leave...we mostly did it illegally but we knew the consequences if we got caught but then we were younger so we did some stupid stuff lol

thanks for that link! now since it says they use total and standard ill have to bring a scale with me and do some research on which is more accurate really we should all take a scale and do some measurements of thousands of bass and help contribute to make the calculations as good as possible

hey if i can do 16 hours walking in waist/knee deep water for a couple days while catching fish(and no the dark is not a reason to stop lol) without anything except a few snacks in a plastic bag that floats away without me looking half the time lol then anyone can do it no need to be roid raging especially when there is a chance you could lose hahahaha

by my calc is about 3.9-4lbs if you measured at the fork of the tail instead of the very end

i have found some of my biggest bass 10lbs+ on a golf course right down the street from me in the smallest lakes on the course lol....they usually stock them to keep the water alive or so...and mostly no one fishes them also be careful if the course is open we have had golf balls hit the trees above us and land at our feet..now they ripped up the golf course and made it into a park and took out all the lakes and made a big canal and stocked it with tiny bass was illegal to fish there anyway but they just tell you to leave lol

ive gotten bad spools of line from the factory a few times...havent tried seaguar but ive had bad spools from stren, ande, berkley, powerpro and spiderwire they all were weird looking on the spool when i first opened them and broke easily without being spooled up for the powerpro and spiderwire they looked very normal no frays or anything but i always pull some off the spool before i spool up and test it to see if it breaks by hand or not and inspect it real quick to make sure it looks ok...well when i pulled it by hand a small amount(i was doing to 50lb powerpro and cant remember what test spiderwire) but it broke very easily so i pulled more off the spool and the same thing happened through about 3/4 of the spool remember now this line was just opened and was pulled out of the package and the line never went through a cutter or touched the outside of the spool etc and was never put on a reel etc...only happened with 2 spools of pp and one of spiderwire(i didnt use spiderwire very long) but it did happen

i recently did the same was missing the tail and all so i made it nice again and now i cant catch anything off it lol

very nice last time i was in sebastian inlet everyone was pulling in doormats we usually go on flats at night and hit them with forks...just have to judge whether they are keeper size first lol
