I think that rule only applies if they are sight fishing. But I could be wrong. Matt

I was fishing in a tournament last year it was in the morning just after the tournament started. My partner and I quietly pulled into this cove and started fishing down along the bank with creature baits. Just about 3/4 of the way into the cove my line started moving toward the center of the cove, I set the hook the fish came up and swirled the sound alone had my partner reaching for the net, I started to reel down on the fish to pull it towards the boat and wham the fish just came unbuttoned and swam away we never really saw the fish but from the swirl it was a big fish. Later at the weigh in we discovered that if we would have landed that fish we would have won hands down. It still haunts me to this day over a year later. Matt

I never sleep well before a tournament, I always lay awake thinking about the game plan, what I have tied on, what I will tie on if what I already have on doesn't work. Water conditions, and everything else I can possibly think about. Matt

I like the sexy swimmer commercials, there is a newer version out where Denny finally dances a little bit at the end. It is hilarious. Matt

I generally take everything with me when I go out. Except when I fish with my partner in his boat. His boat is smaller than mine and I just can not fit all of my stuff into his boat and still have room to move around. So when I fish out of his boat I have to limit myself to 1 bag with 5 or 6 boxes of tackle in it, and my soft plastic bag. 1 of those boxes has my terminal tackle in it. Every time we go out I am scared to death that what I need will be sitting in my boat at home. So to get to the point, I think maybe some of us do make things to complicated. I have decided that this year I am going to try not to carry everything all the time. If I can limit myself to what I am carrying in the boat I can learn to be a much better fisherman. Matt

I like the moves that the braves made this off season. Hopefully all the pieces fit together, and if Chipper Jones can get his offensive production back up to normal levels things look pretty good. Matt

Very well said Lucky Craft Man. I agree with you, and the last time the Steelers won the Super Bowl the following season was not pretty, but they rebounded quickly and returned to winning again the next year. It will more than likely be the same this year. Unlike the Seahawks who haven't done anything but lose ever since they were beaten in Super Bowl. Matt

That is a very nice fish, not as nice as mine but still a very nice fish. If I had known you were working so hard for a nice smallie I would have invited you along with jake and me on our last couple trips to the river. I'm sure that we could have made it a lot easier for you. I remember from past trips you do not do so well with the rivers and the small mouth. Matt

Mine was caught at a tournament using a brush hog, watermelon candy color in the summer at about 9:30 in the morning. She was just over 4lbs. Matt
