  1. Nrx 822 syr- 300 just broke and got free Nrx plus Steez 71 medheavy- 300 Garmin 93sv with the gt56- 700 3 shimano curado rods from another site. All for 130. And found alot of miscellaneous lure from senko's and strike king jigs from a dollar and up.
  2. Seen that. Ever since the mlf guys showed up here these were impossible to find.
  3. Stock up on flatworms for some summer smallie fishing here in Wisconsin. Also pick up a Garmin Force for 1700 with gift cards and a 15% at cabelas
  4. Funny you said that because the customer rep said the same thing. Btw he also mention that a groove guide was not under warranty incase anyone was wondering
  5. Took a hook and got the rest out. Good call on the epoxy S hovanec
  6. You are right dude. d**n I wish I could beer right now. LOL
  7. Thats how i found the groove with the q tip trick.
  8. Called them and confirmed these are alconite guide along with my other concerns
  9. The insert is still intact with the frame I never heard of the alconite groove either, which are on the IMX Pro. I've heard of the recoil or cheaper guides groove but never the Sic or alconites. Its also weird how its on the double footed guides as opposed to the more common rod tip guide. Good thing my season is over, nonetheless I'll hear from Loomis tomorrow I'll try to get a picture for future reference if anyone is on a search for a groove alconite guide. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong about the Imx guides tho
  10. What has your experience been like with guide replacement? Do they normally replace the guides or exchange rod? Got a Imx Pro 845c crank rod, the 3rd double foot guide started to groove and fray my line. Lost couple fishes and lure because of it already. Forsure I will call them too but just wanted to get people with 1st hand experience. THanks
  11. I can tell you the bad Sucks at tracking. New one has longer rudder so might be better I have the short one. It is slow dont put to much gear on there. Itll make it even slower It's not that effortless to pedal like hobies No drainage design for water to pile up to exit the suppers Some molds have nasty pin holes everywhere so check yours Plastic does not handle really well with rubbing from landing or loading like my old slayer 12. Btw this is my second slayer But overall pretty happy with the slayer10 Its light weight and pack in out with minimalist gear is fun.
  12. Buy one worth it made me won alot of local kayak tournys. Got the 8ft one
  13. It will handle it but for how long? Does your van have all the towing package? Power steering cooler tranny cooler? Lastly couple concern I know of honda is the odyssey rear shocks will not handle the payload after couple thousands of miles towing. Youll start to see the rear shocks take a beating like my pilot. My brakes starting grooving all calipers rotors. Rear shock took a ****. Luckily ive added a aftermarket tranny cooler and my transmission still good
  14. Good line but I'm still searching for the one that will not collect or hold water.
  15. My guess is the yellow and red reels from the T3. Actually what I want More tatula Fuego in the smaller frame Or a whole new platform that look like a quantum exo again. Hahaha
  16. Your budget? Do you want side scan? If you dont want side scan I'll look for a older lowrance hdi units in the 4 or 5. Want side scan then the hook 2 triple shot. Or Cabelas have the Garmin 73sv onsale now. It has side and capable livescope. Not a bird user so dont know much about them. I will be in the future though. Buddy has G3N bird and the side image is clear asf if that's what your going for. Otherwise the 73Sv are pretty good already. My hook2 were just a tad below in detail compared to my SV plus. Di on hook 2 and old models are the same that's why if you decide not to get side then hdi are hard to beat
  17. Can use a tungsten or cheap egg sinker. Acts like a jika or Tokyo rig but slides easier than your traditional bullet sinker. That’s why the Mango rig is so effective and you can fish in light to moderate cover.
  18. Do the mango rig
  19. the Mango rig My go to and cheap alternative for sinkers
  20. Here is the mango rig. Try it with a keitech swing impact you’ll fall in love with it
  21. Native 1st with reverse. Slayer 10 Titan10.5 Max 12 Or wait for new Max 10.
  22. I clean the boat every outing so it doesn't matter. Brown water gets inside the gel coat staining it. I can use toilet bowl cleaner and spray on it and the stains will eventually go away. Once in the stain water it turns brown again. But in clear water its ok. Thinking of buffing it out will fix this or a chemical solution I can put over it. Btw it is garage kept I will try the Bow to stern stuff too.
