I'd get Tatula over Premier all day. Now if it were Victory's vs Tatula I'd get the Victory's all day. But if it were the AGS version I'd get the AGS version over the Victorys all day. Now If it were the LTB I'd get the LTB over the AGS all day. Lol

I've been using the new elite for 1 month long hrs with it and I'm not really impressed with it. It's starting to feel very geary and you can hear the gears meshing. Sure enough you can feel it in the hands too. Save your money and get Vanfords.

If your wearing Costa's 580's with copper lens and green tint. The light greens will pop out the most. Brightest line I've seen so far are the Sunlines light green lines. The Costa glasses really help to pop that color. I've tried most the line that has been posted on here

Look into the new Daiwa Tatula Patrick Walter Jerk bait rod non ags. It's like a Expride 6'10 and a Double X jerkspecial had a baby. I've got both the other rods and the action and bend is what I really like for the great lakes smallie. Tip rebound is soft but it rebounds so fast during those smallie head shakes and the rod has a nice parabolic bend to it that loads up at the same time. The reel seat are way more comfortable than both the shimano and megabass. As for spinning rods I really like the Daiwa flexlite but those are out of your budget

I don't anymore like above it feels better without it. Now I Cermaic coat it instead. The entire rod and reels including the cork. You just have to treat it often now

Do u know if the knobs are different? Kinda like the T shaped knobs. I'd prefer the shallow spool

What ate the difference between the CHX model and DHX? There both 2500 series. Are there cosmetics differences in the knobs?

Bump old thread some things I found of the rod bending. I have the Ags 6'10 Walters rod. I think a may be a little faster and stiffer than I'd like for great lake small mouth rod. 🤔 really thinking now if I'd gone the 6'9 seth for 110's. But I gotta say the new reel seat feels way better than my Expride 6'10 and my Xx Jerkspecial. Love the reels seat. It balances quite well with the Tat70sv right at the end corner of the foregrip. 2021 lost a kayak club tournament due to service could of been 1st place with only 1 more fish to submit but no reception. Host wouldn't allow me to submit last fish that didn't make dead line so then I lost. 2022 came around same lake same club redemption took 1st. Took couple KBF format 1st place as well

Is there a jerk bait out there for slow rolling with tight wobble action? These fish seem to not want to eat the jerk action rather slow rolling and soft jerks. I haven't found a brand yet that allow me to slow roll it with tight action wobble
