Neon Bluegill worked. Found a blue/chartreuse with orange bottom that I found at Walmart for 1.50 that I will try out next.

After reading this thread I decided that i wanted to order some soon from TW since our BP doesn't carry it. Went to Sportsman on the way home for some other stuff and low and behold I see the Cavitron buzz baits. I checked their website before and didnt see it on there. Got a 3/8 in black/black and ghost in 1/4. Probably trying them in the morning!

Purple power worms was what we used constantly when i started fishing. I recently bought some and the smell of it gives me flashbacks...haha.

What are some of the crankbaits that you use with orange bottoms? I don't feel like going to bass pro and checking every crank for an orange bottom but I will if I have to!

Read as much as you can and watch videos. Research each question you have but not all at once because it will be overwhelming. Maybe pic a specific topic and learn that topic for the day. Think of it like building a house. You need a solid foundation before you start adding the little things in. Good news is that you came to the right place. Yup exactly what i did too. You can switch back and forth from the mobile version to the full version and vice versa if needed.

I went to Bass Pro today and was examining the KVD 1.0's. I noticed the Neon Bluegill had a good amount of orange on the bottom. So of course i bought it to try it out!

I say the Fiance lets you buy new spinning gear or the wedding is off!!!

Im from Hawaii...most of us are born fishing. But once i started freshwater fishing as a kid, I hated saltwater fishing unless its on a boat. I feel like freshwater fishing is more personal. Its me vs the bass.

My girlfriend got me a boonie style fishing hat from Dillards I believe. It has mesh in the inside which is supposed to keep your head cool as well.
