  1. I fish about 2-3 times a week. I'm only 13, and have to buy my own tackle, so now I can't afford to spend $.50 every time I catch a dink, which is about all the stickbaits catch. Now, I only fish tournaments with my church so I'm not relying on these baits for money. All, I'm saying is that I catch just as many fish on a $2.79 bait as a $6.99 bait. Now when it comes to hooks I only use gamakatsu.
  2. Hey everybody, I'm a big fan of big bites. I think that they're just as good GY. What are y'all s experiences with them? I would like to know since I've only been using them a month now.
  3. If I can't get any on a senko I'll switch to a weightless super fluke in watermelon seed that I dye the tails chartreuse. In Chickamauga the bass feed on lots of bluegill and I think this really helps. Those two lures are in my panic box.
  4. Save your money and get the big bite baits version of the senko. Compare the $2.79 for the big bites to the $6.99 of senkos and you'll see why. I have just as good luck with them as the senkos. I always fish mine weightless t-rigged with a 4/0 gammy ewg. Watermelon red flake has been a good color for me. I always fish mine on spinning tackle. I can skip them under docks and tree branches as well as get better casting distance than I can with my baitcaster. I'll either throw them out, let them sink, then just reel them back as fast as I can and do it again, or throw them out let them, let them sink and reel it back as slow as I can. I catch way more with the second retrieve. Use the first if they're are hitting on the fall. Remember that they have their own action and it's really easy to over work them.
  5. I like YoMama! Not into YoDaddy though.
  6. If the water is clean they don't post anything.
  7. TWRA post signs down here if the water is to polluted to eat from. A lot say not to eat more than a pound of fish a month, but some like Chattanooga creek reel you to not make any contact with the water.
  8. Stop fishing right when the bite turned on.
  9. Hey man, I'm only 13 but I see wear you're coming from. I've noticed the respect thing at my school is awfull. If I talked the way some of those kids do I would get such a whooping that I wouldn't be able to sit down for a month. I've only got about five friends because I don't want to get in trouble. The only thing I do now is fish and go to church. You wanna know what my friends do? They fish and go to church. Most of us are on the church's bass team. I am not allowed to say how I think church affects you because of the rules, but I think that I has a very big thing to do with how you act and how you look to others. I have actually gotten to wear I fish so much my mom makes fun of me for it. Now I don't want to say I only fish to stay out of trouble because it is my favorite thing in the world to do, but it helps. We also know to take care of our fish to release them un-harmed. Non of that spiking down bass bullcrap. If we are catching crappie to eat(what other reason to catch crappie) we try to keep as much stress as possible off the fish. No need in making something suffer more than it already has. That's just plain sadistic and cruel.
