If I was a judge and you showed up looking like that, you would be held for contempt of court. The two or three times I've had to go to court, I always made an effort to dress appropriately. The bad thing is you often see a large amount of people who do not care about doing so. How anyone could think it is right to show up to court wearing shorts and flipflops is beyond me.

Everything I've heard about that incident indicated that he did a good bit to provoke the attack. Then again, knowing the people we know who work in the area prisons, it isn't all that surprising.

The month is half over and the total precipitation is 6.5". We had 8" last month. We've had more rain in the first five and a half months of this year than we did in the first 9 months last year.
