10 lb. braid for fishing a jig???

Wow, what a weekend. Exhausting might be a good way to describe the experience. I'll let others take care of the commentary, I need more rest.

6'6 Fenwick spinning rod with a Daiwa tournement edition spinning reel...with 15 lb stren super braid Rod power? That probably isn't enough rod to drive a hook through plastic and then through the fish's mouth.

If you own a Tracker boat, don't let a 280 lb. manbearpig fish off the back deck unless you want a crapload of water in the bilge. We pushed the limit on that poor boat last night.

Where did you buy it from? A local tackle shop.

This is going to take some getting used to. I guess riding in a boat all these years didn't help that much. :-[

What kind of rod and line are you using?

They are a Bomber crankbait. The rattle isn't all that easy to activate/deactivate and the rattle will activate itself on contact with a hard surface. That isn't to say that they aren't a nice bait. But I don't know if they're any better than the other lures in Bomber's line.

Both the Rage Craw claw and the Paca Craw claw have a raised lip at the outer edge of the claw. The difference lies in the plastic that connects the claw to the body. They are similar but different.

Man I'm glad I got to listen to Ron & Pat during yesterday's game. Harrelson may be the worst commentator in baseball history. When WGN started carrying Sox games in the early 90s, I would watch just for the hell of it. After a season of having to listen to that POS, I gave up on the White Sox.

Look at the resolution of the unit. That cheap Garmin color doesn't feature very much resolution. I would rather have a high resolution monochrome graph than a low resolution color unit. I've found color much easier to read. I see things I never saw before.

Best buy for the money, color excluded? Humminbird 565 For color/gps, a bigger screen is certainly better. I won't make a recommendation because I only have experience with one unit.

Well, it looks exactly like Trilene flouro. Going to fill my jig reel tonight and give it a good workout this weekend.
