  1. Gary Loomis hasn't been with G.Loomis for a number of years.
  2. Good luck getting the blank. G.Loomis got out of the blank business. http://rodbuilding.org/read.php?2,313382
  3. Best photo I've seen so far. From TackleTour...
  4. From TackleTour... Yeah, those will sell like hotcakes! :-X
  5. How much line do you need? More than 90 yards of 12lb test. I want something I can put a lot of 15-17lb test on. I've never needed more line than what I can fit on my Core 50. And I use 17 lb. fluorocarbon on it.

  7. There's 3" of IPT difference between the 6.4:1 Curado 50 and the 7.01:1 Core 50.
  8. I don't understand their constant Zillion special editions. Had the red one, now the black Type R. Not that they've ever really released much at ICast.
  9. After all the interest the old Pixy generated in the US, I figured they would bring the PX68 across the Pacific. Unless they're delaying the announcement, the only thing Daiwa brought to iCast was a few new Steez rods and a new spinning reel. Disappointing as there was a PX68 in my future.
  10. Easy enough to purchase a 200E7 or 5, purchase Citica E gearing and replace. Not for us southpaws. Leftys and gingers have no souls. Apparently Shimano shares your sentiments. Genetic defects aren't their problem.

  12. I like the handle (although it looks shorter than the standard Citica/Curado 84mm). Might have to buy a handle just to try on a Citica.
  13. The rods were enough, but this reel? :-X

  15. At 25 IPT, I'm going to love this thing for crankbaits. Now to decide whether to order one or three.
  16. Eakins 5/16 Yamamoto Flappin' Hog
  17. I got a couple of my old spinning reels out a while back. Can't imagine fishing with them now. Dad's old D.A.M Quick was a great reel 20 years ago, but now it's just big and clunky. Same for my old Mitchell 300's and Daiwas. I know some local guys who still fish the old Cardinals due to their spool size (used mainly for Float & Fly). There's been so much innovation in spinning reel design over the last 15 years, there's no reason to fish the old stuff anymore.
  18. Children corrupting babies. 14/15 aren't babies, nor children.

  20. Being a dummy isn't against the law. If it were, there would be more in jail than on the street.
  21. And no mention of guides. Hope they didn't go with Recoils on these.
