  1. They sure suck. All fur coat and no trousers.
  2. Glass crankbait rods don't really have enough backbone for ripping traps in grass.
  3. Yeah, but it's still a Flooger. :-X
  4. FWIW, I made it a point to fill up at BP stations last week in Alabama. They need all the money they can get.
  5. Nothing. : What more could they be doing?
  6. If a rod is more than a few months old, failure on a hookset is directly attributable to user damage.
  7. What was the question? :-?
  8. Great line, I think it's the same line as Trilene 100% with a fluorescent component.

  10. Bass Pro brand hooks will cost you more money in the long run.

No, fell right into the jar of Pro Tec.
  13. Brand doesn't matter. That said, I tried Sufix two years ago, it was worse than Power Pro. Tried PLine Spectra three years ago, about the same as Power Pro. Just doesn't fit any of my needs. PLine CX & CXX and Stren/Trilene fluoro.

  21. Wow, I must really be a pro then. I've been fishing for 30. Imagine how much of a pro Catt, Marty, RoLo or any of the other old farts around here must be.
  22. Yep. Line is cheap. A long tag end (thusly clipped) ensures that 4-6" of abraded line will be removed. Line guide drag? Never heard that one before.
  23. Wow, where to begin...
  24. When they're taking a little tiger snooze?
