  1. The Mustang HIT is your only option. How much is your life worth? I've been using a Mustang HIT for about two years, it's been worn in driving rain without inflating.
  2. I wouldn't pay $300 for a 12 inch boat. But that's just me.
  3. That's why the baits are absolute crap. Buy the Strike King Pure Poison and be done with it.
  4. Don't understand why everyone thinks you have to throw black at night.
  5. Never thought of that, but given the amount of hormones, antibiotics, etc that most livestock are injected with, it makes perfect sense... : Really? Really?? Don't believe everything you read.
  6. The Spinnerbait/Worm rod is an excellent Bandit 200/300 rod. Also shines with a 3/8 or 1/2 oz spinnerbait. Haven't fished a worm with it and won't.
  7. Yep, sand in the mangina syndrome.
  8. While I don't doubt the highlighted portion, I can say without reservation that in excess of 90% of law enforcement is absolutely clueless WRT to guns and gun laws.

  12. Unless you live in CA or a few other less-free states, registration is non-existent.
  13. I've yet to catch a fish that any of my Shimano reels could not handle.
  14. All fur coat and no trousers.
  15. And if you believe that, I've got a bridge to sell you. :
  16. Of the three listed, the Quantum is the best choice.
  17. I'd put it up against yours. I bet you would pervert.
  18. Why are there more than one color of break weights for my Baitcasting VBS system? Shimano makes two different break weights; Heavy (Black, Grey, or Green in color) and Light (Red, Blue, and Clear in color). Most of the new reels are shipped with the light break weights on the reel, and the heavy break weights in packaging in the box. If the light break weights don't provide adequate spool stopping power, change them simply by pulling them off of the spool and replace them with the heavier weights. http://fish.shimano.com/publish/content/global_fish/en/us/index/customer_service0/FAQ.html
  19. I finally put my rain gauge out on Sunday. From Monday evening until about an hour ago, we had gotten around 4.5" of rain. Doesn't take much to get the area around the track muddy. If I were going over there for the Busch race tomorrow night, I would be wearing a pair of rubber boots.
  20. Any 'trace' amount of free chlorine present in ice would be oxidized fairly quickly by organic material present in the lake water. I haven't used ice in the livewell in my last three tournaments. Other than one gut-hooked fishing dying (was dead when I put him in the well), all fish have done very well. I had one spend about 8 hours in the well on Saturday. Lake surface temp was 82-84*, every fish was as lively at the end of the day as when I put them in. The water is just so hot right now there's no way I can carry enough ice to keep the livewell cooled. I haven't seen the entire show detailing Martens' problems, but the portion that I have watched showed him catching a fish and dumping an entire bag of ice on top of it. That's just too much ice. Take any cold blooded animal and instantly change their body temperature by that much and there's a good chance you're going to kill them.
  21. Hate you're not going to get to enjoy wading through the swamp around the track.
