Bought another 50 lbs. of tomatoes this week, have half canned, should get the other half done this weekend. That will make 100 lbs. of tomatoes canned in the last two months. Bought 20 lbs. of chicken and 15 lbs. of pork at Sam's last week. The FoodSaver is worth it's weight in gold. Freezer is filling up and deer season isn't even here yet. Hope I can match last year's total of 5 kills. Weather is cool enough now to start cutting wood as well. I love fall.

The magnetic Revo is a different beast than any reel out there. You can't set it up like you do other reels.

I came very close to making a trip to Boone this week. Wife wanted to go camping one last time (nice campground north of ASU), but we couldn't manage to get away. Would love to be down there when school is in session. Hippie girl free love and all that.

It would be nice if the reel & box weighed 8 oz. By the time you box it up with appropriate filler, it's closer to a pound. I've shipped a lot of reels lately, average cost via USPS Priority is $6. Add in the cost of the box, tape, gas to PO, etc. and you've got another $2-3. That said, the $15 shipping charge is a way of making a bit more $$. They're selling those reels at less than 15% over wholesale.
