Very well done. Giamatti was the perfect choice for the role. I cannot wait for the last five episodes.

Lake Russell
Headed down with an old friend on Saturday morning for a few days of fun fishing. No competition, just plain fun. I knew there might be some rough weather that evening, but didn't know we'd be sitting through a tornado watch. The first wave passed through to the north. The second one snuck down and got us. We sat through 10 minutes of the hardest hail storm I've ever witnessed. It flooded our campsite (we stayed at Calhoun Falls SP), but the tent held up. Just a little wet inside. After the hail storm, the skies cleared (for a while), so we went fishing. We did get drenched in a nice five minute cloudburst, but overall it was a nice evening. Calm water, the fish weren't biting all that well though. Sunday morning it was a bit chilly and windy, but the skies were clear. We hit a couple of spots up the lake, then worked our way back down. I was dragging a lizard when this thing hit. I thought it was a catfish at first. Hit near the bank, then headed for deep water. Water was still a bit cool, so the bite just wasn't what it could have been. We did catch fish, but nothing to write home about. That place is full of fat fish though. They're all meaner than hungry dog too. We know how to eat well! A great place to stay, $22 a night, clean bath houses and friendly people.

Official BR.com Movie Review thread
25th Hour - I despise Spike Lee, but this wasn't a bad watch. I detest Ed Norton, but he turned in a good performance, as did PSH and Pepper. Anna Paquin...

wallmart "yellow" case batteries
The 29 used to be yellow, but they started moving to a black case last year. I've got one yellow and one black. Both are quality batteries. FWIW, the Maxx batteries have an 18 month pro-rated warranty.

Magnetic vs. centrifugal... :-X OK, But why do they make it so you have to take the cover off to adjust it? That's what I'm asking. :-? Mike How else would you move the collars? :-?

If you aren't willing to lose it, don't fish it.

P-Line Braid
It's quality braid. A little too much dye for my liking, but it is a good line for the money.

Burley strikes again!!
Well gee, I was hoping those two would get me the other signed crank. Like I told you last week, I owed you two. Those have Burley-mojo on them, so they'll probably catch nothing but dinks. :'(

Bottom Comp's...
There is one local lake that uses old tires bolted together as a shore-stabilizer. It doesn't work all that well as the bank washed out just as fast. Anywho, these tires are a few feet deep over a little deeper water. The spotted bass spawn in those tires every year.

Ok guys In response to Glenn interview
Virtually every time I've seen a senko-style bait fished on TV, it has been with a bullet weight.
