2008 NCAA Tournament - Bassresource pool & bracket challenge
The NCAA should be ashamed. Yeah, let's give UNC the possibility of four home games. They should have just scheduled the first four rounds in Chapel Hill to save the sainted Tar Heels some gas money.

Jimzee just bent Guntersville over!
There are so many other ways I could have said it, but the censor wouldn't allow 99.9% of them.

Jimzee just bent Guntersville over!
Just got off the phone with him, he just got finished dragging in a 7.5 pig. He said it was cold down there, windy as hell this morning.

Clipper catches a 7 1/2 pounder at Varner!!!!!
That is what makes a day with Randall so enjoyable. You'll catch fish, but you'll also learn a great deal.

With a rebate, I could not resist a new Shimano...
Unless it's getting four new reels.

Tyrrells parsnip/beet/carrot chips
I thought the same thing, but I was hooked after two handfulls. The beets are an acquired taste though. Parsnips are the best. Those brits make some good food and beer.

Anyone use BPS Excel ?
You can't beat it for the money. Not the strongest line on the market though.

WGFS - The FlaMich Cup
World's Greatest Fishing Show presents The FLAMICH Cup The two-part show airs April 5 and April 12, 2008 The World's Greatest Fishing Show's presentation of The Flamich Cup could possibly be the greatest competitive fishing spectacular ever created... at least in the minds of the show's host, Mark Zona and BASS founder Ray Scott. In celebration of the 40th anniversary of BASS, some of the biggest names in bass fishing will vie for the prestigious honor of hoisting the Flamich Cup. Roland Martin and Shaw Grigsby will represent the state of Florida. They will compete against the might of Michigan, Mark Zona and Kevin VanDam. This match-up between Florida (FLA) and Michigan (MICH) inspired the event's name. Taped on location at Ray Scott's home in Pintlala, Ala., the teams were eager to meet up on Scott's famed lake, which according to Roland Martin is the "number one lake in the whole world." The lake record is 13 pounds, 15 ounces caught by another bass legend... Rick Clunn. This unique event will air in two parts starting on 4/5/08 with the exciting conclusion on 4/12/08. http://sports.espn.go.com/outdoors/bassmaster/news/story?page=b_WGFS_FLAMICH_Cup_08

Guys I appreciate the offers, but I don't need them that bad. I'll just have to take advantage of the internet/catalog deals. :-[

Tyrrells parsnip/beet/carrot chips
http://www.tyrrellspotatochips.co.uk/pages/products/mixedroot.php Managed to procure a bag of these locally. Don't know how they got to the US, but man they are good. Good enough for me to consider importing a big batch of them from the UK. Better than chips!

Are graphite reels really bad?
Yet another POOYA statement. Have you fished these 'junk metal reels' that are 'overpriced'? No? :

Giant Bass Baits!
I have read in several different articles that it takes a bass about 3-4 hours to really adjust to the light change.

The DarkSide Flows
Isn't that a bit of overkill for someone from Iowa? Those things will sit unused for 6 months of the year. Kind of like an Iowan spending $2000 on a set of golf clubs.
