  1. Do you want to just control on/off or on/off and direction of travel? If the former, then you can get a foot switch to cycle the power. If the latter, I have absolutely no idea.

I went to the store this morning to get the Islanders (vented bottom, leather upper) in brown/khaki, but they didn't have my size in that color. All they had was black and I knew darn well that I didn't want black as my feet would probably rot off this summer. That is how I ended up with the AT's. They'll serve dual purpose (work, play). I needed a pair without holes for work anyway.

I had been hesitant to get any of these shoes for a long time. I just didn't know if they were as good as everyone said they were. I have now changed my mind. http://shop.crocs.com/pc-129-4-all-terrain.aspx?reqid=129&reqProdTypeId=41p&subsectionname=footwear&section=products Just been wearing them a day and they are already in my Top 5 for most comfortable shoes ever. Even thinking about getting a pair with holes in them for boat use in the summer.
  4. My credit union does it for free. When I did my last batch, I spent about two weeks rolling everything up. Wife took it in and they told her to not even bother rolling it as they have to break it out and run it through their machine anyway.
  5. Sad thing is that those are only about 2% of what I snapped last year.
  6. That is a hawg!
  7. Couldn't have said it better. That boat is in great shape.
  8. Thanks for the compliments guys, I sometimes think I spend more time on the water snapping the shutter than fishing. ;D

You're telling me. I guess I need to rectify that.
  10. Use a muffin pan.
  11. That is very true Mud.
  12. Yep, usually empty it every couple of years. Last time it totalled around $80. Can't imagine what it would be if I used cash on a regular basis.
  13. That is a good deal KS. I've been thinking about upgrading my cranking reel and that price certainly fits the bill.
  14. How about a 3-4' length of heavy chain?
  15. Par for the course. Friend said the upper end of the lake was quite muddy with a reddish slick on top. I figured the slick was from all of the red clay in that portion of the lake. I've never been on this lake in the spring. Usually pretty clear in the summer.
  16. Perhaps we need a new thread? It will give all of you NL folks a place to cry when the Cubs take the Central by 25 games this year. ;D
  17. $80 for the Clunn, $120 for the Citica.
  18. I'm going to be laughing about that one for the next 10 years. And I wasn't even there! ;D
  19. God I love Howard's. Although my wife and I have spent a lot of time on the OBX, we only ventured down to Ocracoke once (actually twice, but Isabelle stopped us short once). Howard's Carolina Classic burger haunts my dreams.
  20. Nah, get a Citica 200DPV or Curado 200DPV. Embrace the light!!!!
  21. Slower ratio = less of a workout for deep diving baits. Good reading here: http://www.bassresource.com/beginner/fishing_equipment.html
  22. What's the over/under on Muddy buying up all things Shimano in the Flea Market over the next three months? ;D
  23. I didn't have the boat to fish the big lakes until after jerk-ski season last year. 95% of my time on the water last year was spent on lakes of less than 200 acres.
  24. 19" caught on first canoe trip of the year. Hooked in the gills, so I kept and fried up One of SW VA's best kept secrets Best LM of the year I love catching carp Ever see something like that on the water? Pulled those two off the same laydown First trip alone in the new (to me) boat
