The only reel I've seen with a lower profile than the Citica/Curado E is the Core 50.

what do they do? Just send them slower? I get three discs at a time and I send them back the day after I get them. I haven't had any problems (so far) They penalize heavy users. There was a court case concerning this. Blockbuster does it to me. If I watch & return ASAP, I usually have to wait a couple of days extra. If I sit on a disc for a week, the turnaround is much quicker.

Hope you enjoy throttling. Netflix/Blockbuster don't like it when you mail the DVD's back too quickly.

Bulky? The Citica E is almost an ounce lighter than the revo. I haven't seen the new revos but compared to the revo s out now the Citica has just as small of a profile if not smaller. I'm not talking about weight. when compared side by side the revo has a smaller profile. I was just telling him in case that might play a role in his final selection

None. The key to frying is to make sure the oil is at the proper temperature. Frying is like osmosis in that the moisture in food is keeping the oil out. Once there is no more moisture in the food, oil is going to get in.

Memory is a by-product of strength and abrasion resistance. Trilene XL has very little memory, but is about as strong as spaghetti and has the abrasion resistance of sewing thread.

Having used both Stren and Trilene 100% fluoro, there is no doubt in my mind that they are the same. As for abrasion resistance, no line comes close to PLine CXX.

Peanut oil > all others. Higher smoke point. Oil will last forever as long as you don't overheat it and keep it strained. I use three oils. Peanut in the fryers, canola and olive.
