How often is your SK 2.5 used over the 1.5
I have a lot of 1.5s and a few 1.0s. I rarely fish the 1.0s. I don't even own a 2.5. I'm going to have to fix that!

The latest sale thread
I saw that BPS had the Shimano Sedona reel on sale for $39.97 ($30.02 off)! I didn't have time to run to BPS so I stopped by my local Cabelas and they had two of the size that I wanted in stock. They did a price match and I picked up two of them! I also saw while I was there, they had the Pfluger President spinning reel on sale for $49.99 (reg 59.99) and the Pfluger Purist also for $49.99 (reg 79.99). Just an FYI. I have no affiliation with either company.

Pick Your Frog!
Booyah, Booyah, and...... Booyah! Full disclosure, I do have a three of the Spro, one KVD, one Terminator, two Lunkerhunt, a Live Target Field Mouse and Sunfish. I've caught more and better fish on the Booyah Pad Crashers than all of the others combined! Plus I just like saying Booyah!

How to Go About Buying Tackle
Thank god! Here, I thought that I was the only one who experienced this! I tried to tell people about it but, they just look at me weird!

Tackle for Cheap
My go to for soft plastics is Berkley (Power Worm and Chigger Craws mainly), Zoom, and Yum. I do still splurge and buy the Yamamoto Senkos still. For hard baits, it's hard to beat Strike King and Rapala. For frogs, which I use a lot, Booyah wins it by far for me.

Steel Angles
Stainless steel will not react with aluminum but, that might get costly.

Bank fishing day 8
Im in Michigan, not sure where you are but, I went out four days in a row last week. First days caught several with one four pounder. The day before that we had heavy cold rains. Which caused the water temp to drop from the mid to high 40s to around 38. The fish turned off at that point and I caught nothing but one rock bass the next three afternoons in a row. The little sucker hit a spinner bait. But it my point being sometimes the fish turn off for a period of time. Like was said earlier, keep at it, they have to eat sooner or later.

cheap frog rod.
Thats what I've been using for the past couple of years and I've been really happy with its performance. I don't spend big money on frogs rods as I tend to abuse the crap out of them!
