  1. $79.79, Here you go, this is what I've been using. You can spend more and upgrade to a tournament pro, but for those big heavy dd22's and xd6's I've found that this thing is perfect- It casts, for me, further than the STX and is about half the price. This seller is great to... Fast shipping. I've bought several reels from them and not a problem at all...
  2. when you figure out how and where to always catch big bass, please tell me! Finding the big un is what bass fishing is all about!
  3. When you put it on, did you roll off the spool from over the top or under the bottom? If you rolled from under the bottom, you will have to roll it back off the reel just like you took it off the spool, flip the spool over and hopefully you can go over the top and it fixes the problem.
  4. Banging docks with chatterbaits, spinners, and jigs. T-rigs, wacky tricks n senkos. c-rigs and swimbaits. I dont have any natural lakes for day trips anywhere close here so everything is for fishing reservoirs. Water authority likes to kill all the grass around here, so fishing can get difficult for really big fish.
  5. Tuesday night and Thursday nights here... If I could afford the Friday night one I'd do it also. Already secured a championship spot on one lake and one spot out on the other- Just need to catch one over (18") on a lake that has no grass in it. Addictive is an understatement!
  6. I knocked my partner out of the boat when I hit him with a chatterbait one night on a hang up. That thing just about hit me- i guess I flinched just enough. this also proved that the Life Proof phone cases are really waterproof!
  7. I use it on my 12" worms and the Manns big jelly in the 25' fow. Successful... 5lbs 18" bass pretty regularly... I like eyedabassman's clip idea... Don't know why I didnt think of it, I have a bunch in my tool box and I never use them....
  8. I caught one a couple weeks ago that had an old rusty hook in it's gullet. No telling how long it was there...
  9. hands down, I found that the Seaguar Abrazx has the best bang for your buck... I just bought a 1000 yard spool for 75 bucks- should be good for all my jig and worm poles for the next couple years (17# test). I'll be getting the other weights soon.
  10. skip the braid and get ya some berkley vanish!!!
  11. check the magnets, you may have one that came loose and is sitting cockeyed in its seat.
  12. I only need 5 (three on a couple lakes)... sure would like it when I have a >25# sack to weigh in (someday)...
  13. If it were me, I would have hung on to that fish and had "a plate of shame". I dont go fishing for eating bass, but I have no problem frying up one that I know is going to die when I put it back in the lake... As for you feeling bad, just means that you have respect for the game you hunt.
  14. C-Rig for me.... Crankbait second and jig being last...
  15. Charlies worms finesses. Black, watermelon, pumpkin seed, and tequila sunrise. I use a cheapy off brand from wal-mart. Black football screw-head with red hook 1/4 oz . 2.99 for 5...
  16. I use Humminbird, I'm getting a RayMarine for the Down imaging and upgrading my Humminbird to a 998 SI- unless I can find a 1198 for less than 1500 bucks. I bought to small a screen for my needs.
  17. I recommend the Navonic... Lake master chips die really easy for some reason... Mine did and it only has a 60 warranty then your sol! I put it in the Humminbird and took it out when I had to send the sonar in for warranty work. I got the sonar back put the chip in and it was dead. Called and they told me I was sol...
  18. I have one and when its on I catch fish. The trick is to find some bait fish and use the passive setting. I find when fish are stuck to the bottom and not biting I can turn on the fleeting shad setting and use the intermittent setting on a low volume setting and get the fish moving around. Yes it works but its not the magic bullet to guarantee fish every time. Just another tool in the arsenal. It works really well for crappie fishing at night along with a green lamp. Huge schools of shad circling the boat- it can make one motion sick watching them swim around and around... I recommend it to ya!
  19. I have it and JJ's... I use the JJ's for my Jigs cause the bottle is big enough to dip the whole jig- The only thing I don't like about JJ's is the glass bottle... It's nice, but I always worry about it exploding in my tackle box. I like the Q-tip idea. now i can "paint" my flukes just the way I want to.
  20. I just cut up a bunch of the 3/8 heat shrink about 3/8" and pierce the tube and senko. I still lose some once in a while... have found just the tube left on the hook before, I used to heat them to shrink, but now I don't- haven't noticed any difference, the lighter in my tackle box grew legs and walked off and since I quit smoking I don't have a lighter in my pocket anymore so I have no way to heat the shrink up...
  21. And now I'm hungry...
  22. I usually spend a buck fifty for my reel and a buck fifty for a rod... I've gotten several 80 dollar rods and they seemed to be fine, I've just come to like the micro magics...
  23. I read an article about using a med heavy for deep diving crank baits from *** ( http://www.***.com/combo-clinic-deep-cranking-fishing-combo-tips/ ). I had great results until I hooked a stuck anchor rope and broke my rod trying to retrieve my lure. as for shallow dive, lipless, and squarebilled- I use a composite.
  24. FISH KILLER!!!! JK... In all my years of fishing, I've never heard of this nor seen it. I know I've blinded in one eye a bunch of fish, makes me feel bad for the fish... Did you take it home and fillet it? No sense in wasting it...
