  1. Bass leveraging hooks
  2. Waste of money? Here in wv a license with a trout stamp is around 40 dollars. Say 100,000 in states buy a license and bam you have 4 million. I assure you that raising trout barely makes a dent in that revenue. Why do you think DNR is more active during the spring than summer/fall
  3. Some people add frog hook as a stinger with braid tied to eye of the hudd. Looked into a bit ago and a 3/0 frog hook is too wide for the gill.
  4. One fella here mentioned that cutting the hook slot longer will help some

Someone is selling a similar assortment on ebay for nearly 100 NIB. 23 bids so far. I'd sell them and get duo or spro as replacements

Just purchased one in morning dawn color. Lots of hype for this lure. Duo has been impressing me lately
  7. Got my two in. Little difference in light and dark gill. Prices they are going for on ebay I'm really tempted to sell. They look great though and look like bass will choke them.
  8. If you want to be precise on color choice...go with the color that resembles local craws. Some craws are dark black or dark brown with blue highlights or red highlights. Clearer the water the more I try to match. Otherwise I pick my favorite jig (sometimes red sometimes blue) and a matching trailer,
  9. I've read some about what to bring as a Co angler but I wanted to know what yall pack and how ya pack it. One tackle bag with 4 3700 boxes, some favorite soft plastics in front pouch, 4 rods enough? Bag doesnt have much room for a couple 16oz drinks or sandwiches. I think a tackle bag and backpack would be too much.
  10. Skipping docks? 1/4 or 3/8 at most Everything else 1/2oz
  11. Diagonally
  12. Mine still on backorder and I ordered like 30 minutes after they premiered
  13. Dbomb has an oil that helps it slide through vegetation. Also the many tiny ribs capture air bubbles and displace water. They are a bit fragile but they are not too expensive.
  14. Nothing solves an argument like making the other guy feel insulted Be polite and diffuse the situation and he won't have a reason to harass you. Hope he leaves ya alone
  15. Team daiwa s has a 7'4" frog rod with fast action for roughly 75 dollars. Rated to 2oz but can handle more. Also relatively lightweight for its size. It's lighter than my 7'3" heavy ***!
  16. Kahara split ring pliers. Problem is the cutting blade is near joint. Blades are small but replaceable.
  17. Amazon is merely a middle man for vendors to use. Amazon has their own products but they don't sell or ship for their vendors. Daiwa for instance sells many products through amazon but amazon does not dictate price to daiwa. I was interested in 7'7" tatula and I searched for it for a period of 4 months waiting for a price drop. I couldn't add it to my wishlist to monitor (firefox glitch) so I had to search almost every day. Price didn't budge but was under msrp. One day they dropped to 75 despite a hundred searches. Not sure how this myth started but it has no grounds in either reality or business. Edit: saw an online post that a few years ago amazon tried custom pricing based on customer habits but had dropped it after backlash.
  18. Again, you don't need to delete cookies and amazon doesn't increase prices when you search. Their prices are set by their vendors and the prices fluctuate depending on how bad they want to get the product off their shelves.

  20. Which is why I got my tatula rod 40% off? If you add items to cart or wishlist you can see their prices fluctuate and by how much so you can buy when prices drop.
  21. Estimates are that they should be in this week maybe next
  22. Just saw this on a tv show. Oversized little john for medium depths. Will wait impatiently to add to my box.
  23. Moderate action means it has flex to it which is what you want with moving baits. Extra fast would be too stiff.
  24. The warm rain has opened up almost all of wv. Some small impoundments have ices along edge but still mostly open. I was at south mill lake outside petersburg, water temps in mid 40s, 50 at the feeder creek.
