Why So Many Setups And Tackle
For me it's more having well-set-up combos than anything. I have 3 dialed combos atm but am working towards 5. Tackle... Well tackle is it's own reason. If they have to ask they'll never understand!

Aaron Martens Edge Rods
I feel the same way. Just like an "as seen on TV" miracle product, it never stacks up like they insist it will. Time will tell with AM though, the guy is definitely a thinker.

Frog Fishing Gear List
I just don't know where they'd all go haha... Can you imagine how many setups he has for moving baits, plastics and jigs?? He must have a pontoon boat and 150 rods on any given day

What Would You Like To See Invented For Fishing
I want a drone sub swimbait video game app. Cast it out, whip out the smartphone while it dives and then drive that sucker around like a mini sub bass-seeking video game. When you see a bass, hit the A for a twitch, B for a wiggle, turbo button for an erratic "escape attempt" etc... It would ruin fishing but it would be a blast.

How To Know When To Throw Top Water Frogs?
Some kind of topwater is almost always in the rotation. Frogs are #1 when there's heavy cover around though, for sure.

Best Braid You Have Used
SX1. Such a joy to fish in every way. I use it as low as 10# in baitcasting reels without problems. No coatings to wear off, stays green, super tight/strong weave and while not quite as supple as PP I like it better. Seems to fray much less in my experience and I always tie with double palomar.

For Those Who Use Backing...
This makes sense, thanks!

For Those Who Use Backing...
Yes but why not just tie on the same amount of mainline you'd normally tie onto a backing right to the spool and forego the backing altogether? Wouldn't that in theory give you a lighter total spool and improve casting distance like a finesse spool would in relation to a normal one? If that is wrong please tell me but explain. My mind is having trouble with the conflicting schools of thought. Is the backing "just in case" the fish peels out past your mainline end in an effort to stretch out a spool's worth of line?

Favorite Frogs?
Well run what makes you happy for sure! I catch fish with "regular" frogs too but the question was what's your favorite. Slither k hands down for me. They are simply the epitome of a perfect frog for me. I have lost frogs before but thankfully not one of those haha... I might cry. I have actually lost a lunk3rhunt frog even though I was running steep leaders once. Sometimes there's nothing you can do.

For Those Who Use Backing...
I've always wondered why people use backing at all. Doesn't the higher spool weight negatively impact casting to some degree? Why not just put less mainline on and call it a day? I realize this may sound stupid but I've never used backing before not has anyone really told me why it's such a good idea. I'd definitely appreciate some insight.

Fishing Gloves
Ninja ice gloves from amazon, no lie best gloves ever. Light insulated stretch neoprene, breathable for the sweaty handed like me, and nice grippy dipped palms. I think they're $9. I got turned onto them by a freezer worker, and now all my snowmaking friends have them. Very dexterous and warm but light and great fit. Snip off a tip, good to go.

Why Faster Bearings?
Too soft. 440 is also used in things like sword blades and is very hard stainless. 304 or 316 would offer good corrosion resistance but would likely scuff, scratch and generally degrade to replacement much faster. This is also why ceramic is a nice choice albeit noisier.
