  3. Hey Guys, I'm thinking about getting some power pro red braided line and I was wondering if it is really visible in the water and will I need a leader? Also I've heard that the color comes off on your hand and drips into the reel is this true? Any help would be great.

  17. Well first of all that "beaver" is probably a muskrat, and and secondly it is a possibility there are just no bass in there. But I wouldn't give up, and don't let it affect your ego. What I would try is a 5 inch grub on a jig head, it's probably too big for the bluegill but a smaller bass would nail it and it would give you an idea if bass are even there. If that doesn't work I'd keep grinding and start trying things would would never use or think would work, you could be surprised.
  18. Hey guys, I'm thinking about getting a 7'3 MH Abu Garcia Veritas rod for my jigs because I've heard it's sensitive. I'm on a budget and don't want to spend more than $100 on a rod. Does any one suggest this rod or have any other suggestions?
  19. Rarely, I buy rods and reels specifically for what i will be using, and only after I have done research on them.
