I love the 7 and 4.5 shaky worm. As well as the swimming craw and the lil thumper. Everybody needs to try these hand poured plastics! Who else fishes these?

I am a 3 color base guy. Pb and j, green pumpkin and black and blue. I experiment with trailer colors a bit more that base colors. But you still have to put the lure in front of the fish.

Senkos or lizards

Shallow: kvd squarebills. Lipless: cotton cordell super spot(make sure you change the hooks). Medium: strike king series 5, bomber deep square lip( the smaller one), deep: strike king 6xd.

Their buzzbaits is the only ones I use! Jigs they sell are good too! My two favorite lures that they make are 3/8 ounce hawg buzz, 1/2 ounce stroker jig.

Mono is the only thing that I use for trebles. Also, make sure to get quality hooks to avoid losing bass.

Texas rigged around spawning beds in the spring.

Well I was fishing my neiborhood pond this spring and I was using a shaky head with 8 pound mono. I saw a swirl and tossed my trick worm over to the swirl, thinking it was a bedding bass. It chomped on, and I set the hook very hard. I then felt something feel like about 4 pounds bigger that my pb of 6 pounds. I didn't have my drag set right, so now I was standing in disbelief at my bass. About 20 seconds later, I saw a behemoth largemouth splash/jump on the surface. It looked like a whale surfacing.

So I am thinking that it is getting about time to start putting that rod in my boat. What water temp does it work best in? What depth does it fish the best? What type of structure should I fish it? I am assuming I am going to throw it at points and secondary points.

Anything that looks like a shad. Exept spinnerbaits, they just don't work for me .

How do you guys keep from getting hung up with your square bills? Bomber has made a deep squarebill, has anyone tried it?
