It broke about an inch below the knot on the swivel.

I fished a tournament today and I started c rigging a lizards with 65 pound braid with a 15 pound mono leader. I broke off 5 fish and only landed one. I didn't fish the c rig anymore because I was so tired of breaking them off on the hookset. The only thing I could think of as me setting the hook hard and the mono not being shock absorbant enough to not break. I don't think the rod would do it, but I was fishing a all start classic carolina rig rod. I took the rod home and put 15 pound mono on the rod. Has anyone had problems like this before?

What kind of action does it have?

I like to pull out the scent when a lot of fish are dropping my plastics before I can get a hookset off.

I would get a pack of bps stick os and a pack of baby brush hogs.

T and c rigged lizards, flukes, shaky heads, and shallow cranks.

It looks familiar. My guess is matzuo.

I found these 3 bank fishing, within the past year sitting in the mud and hung on stumps and rocks. I took them home, cleaned them up, and took the old hooks off them. The first one is a dt6 but I can't find the color on rapala's website. The other two look like a japanese crank to me. Edit: sorry for the sideways pics. I can't figure out how to flip them.

I was fishing a local jr club tournament and they all said I was really good at pair fishing. I can't figure out what that means . So my question is, what is it?

I ran out of flukes the other day. I tried other things but I didn't get them to hit anything else. I bought 6 more packs the next day to make sure I don't run out.

It kills me when I gut hook one and kill it and it it and inch short or less to keep.

Academy had some pumpkin spice flukes on sale today for $0.50. I bought all 5 but now I am wanting to know, what type of forage does this color imitate? I just want to know the right time to fish this color.

The lake I fish I catch them all the time on a carolina rigged zoom 6 inch lizard. I may try the split shot rig after a cold front sometime with a finnesse worm on it.

I am fishing guntesville and chickamagua this year and I will be fishing a 7 6 H action ethos rod with 65 pound braid.

I know this is a dumb question, but what is a jika rig? I have seen a lot of guys talk about it on here.

Didn't weight it. I would rather miss low than high. I will call it 7 pounds.

My brother caught this 20 inch 6lb largemouth yesterday on a crappie magnet crappie fishing.

I know this is probably a stupid question but does it hurt the reel to dip it into the water? I have tried really hard the past few weeks wading for crappie. It would be a lot easier to just put it into the water when I am putting a fish into the fish basket. I just don't want to ruin a perfectly good pflueger president by putting it into the water.

I don't know what causes it but I love when they are yellowish. They are very pretty.
