I have acquired 4 of these one 1/2 ounce chrome blue back, one 1/2 ounce chartreuse, and two 1/4 ounce chrome and blue back. They have quickly become my favorite lipless crank bait and they out fish most of my other ones. I have a ton of confidence in them. My question is are they discontinued? I absolutely love these things and I want more colors. Where can I buy them at?

I have an arkie jig mold and I want to make some chatter baits. How do I attach the blade to the head? What size blades do I use? I am going to make 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2. What color skirt should I look for? Thanks in advance.

I am fishing march 22 on center hill out of Ragland bottoms. I am not familiar with the lake although I have fished for trout below center hill. From my research I am going to bring tubes, 1/4 ounce spinnerbaits, jerk baits, and shaky-heads. Does that sound right? What colors would you use for the tubes? What sort of cover should I key in on? Find a spring and use minnows and slip bobbers or crappie magnets. Some guys fish super deep when it is this cold, like 30-40. I prefer shallower.

Hi guys, as some of you may know I am 13 but I love bass fishing. I don't have a lot of money so I am on a budget. My jonboat's motor is not doing good, so I am stuck on the bank for a little while. I am looking into making my own jig skirts. The only jig heads with weed guards are football heads. l am wanting to get some that are like a flipping or swimming jig, but I would settle for an arkie style flat head. Where can I order them from? And what is a good jig color combo for Percy Priest, since it is my home lake? I am wanting most to be a base of green pumpkin but what is a good color/s I can add to it to make it look natural? Thanks for helping me out.

I had the same problem for some reason. Wait until the fish come up shallow and use crappie magnets or bobby garlands on a 1/16 ounce jig head. Find the depth they want wear them out. Or if you prefer use minnows and slip bobbers.

Who else likes crappie fishing? I love it. I went out this morning at 5:30 for for hours and I got 9 keepers and 20 non keepers. I think I will bring some of my bass stuff tomorrow.

I hear some guys saying to use tight wiggling crankbaits in cold water and wide wobbling crankbaits in the summer. Then I hear some guys saying to use wide wobbling lures in the winter and tight wobbling ones in the summer. What am I missing. I want to see what you guys say. Thanks.

Would you retrieve the rattle trap fast or slow ?

Water temp was 43-45. Water generally stained clarity 1-4 feet. Fished on J percy priest lake. I fished a homemade 3 wire rig with basspro shop swimbaits in 6-20 foot of water for a few hours. I didn't have time to drag a jig. I need to buy some blade baits and some jerk baits soon. What would you guys use in that condition?
