  1. Lookin good Adam, classic and very clean.
  2. They fit in rotation well with my IP79 and Zillion Type R.
  3. Not all the parts are in but here's how they sit now.
  4. As far as the side plate goes if memory serves me correctly, you pop the key up and unscrew until it's loose. It's been a while since I've handle a greenie!
  5. I ordered a couple of these new ones based on their history. I know some people griped when the new Vixens were released because the paint flaked very easily. We shall see.
  6. I thought the same thing Hootie, but it lost 2.5". I missed the decimal place the first time through.
  7. Oh I won't be that cruel! An Itö, a T3SV and an IS79UC.
  8. I've got three reels coming and some dress up parts, will be posted in show off your stuff when they all arrive and have been tinkered with.
  9. I tend to burn them back, often times without a trailer at all. I look for the reaction bite with them. They are quickly becoming one of my favorite search baits as well.
  10. I haven't used the Winn grips but I do like the cork knobs they offer. I have 4 of the 102mm swept handles and I am looking to add the newer 90mm handle. I want the shorter handle for jerkbaits I think (purely personal preference) but only time will tell once I am able to fish with it. I currently use mine for just about everything.
  11. Awesome, thanks for taking the plunge and seeing if it fit.
  12. Adam is that the RCS 1012 for T3s and the like?
  13. That is indeed the dockrocker. Looks like a nasty little jig, may have to pick some up.
  14. Which XX model is the TD Z riding on?
  15. Nice handle on that Met. Love my Hawgtechs.
  16. Papajoe you're a sucker for a nice Sol!!!
  17. For me it's hard to beat an original Zillion. I've seen them go anywhere between $150 and $220. There are plenty in pretty good shape in your price range. Just a thought.
  18. In theory if all you do is fish soft plastics then by all means go for it. I would caution against it because you will kick yourself when somebody is killing them on a deep running crank bait and you can't get bit on your plastics! All in all the decision is up to you and if you feel like this is the best move for you then it is what it is. I tried doing this once, limiting myself to 3-5 rigs. Currently sitting around 20...
  19. Check out tackle trap. Gary is a fantastic person to deal with.
  20. The Berkley Shock rods are marketed as specifically designed to fish braid if that's the route you want to go.
  21. I absolutely need one in 7.9 and probably will buy SV spools for each of my first gen Zillions. Ya know, just in case
