  1. Retail will be 19.99 I believe. I think they look killer.
  2. Shoot the guys at Hawgtech an email. If you don't see it listed they invite the email because 9/10 times they'll fit. I've got 5 of the swept handles and love them.
  3. Thanks, now I need to buy a new zillion!
  4. I've found myself slide down that slippery slope. What ends up happening is a horde of unused gear. I'm trying to tame myself but old habits die hard.
  5. Old Daiwa Triforce given to me by my uncle. When 5.X was super high speed! Around 15 years. I also have bantam curados and castaics but those were given to me later down the line so I don't include those.
  6. Absolutely beautiful. Fabulous collection sir.
  7. I'm running the same thing on my DD. What range are you shooting at? What reticle do you prefer?
  8. I'm pretty sure the X is the same blank, just offered in a split grip with a different paint job.
  9. 10lb original (kind of a blue fluorescent) is the only line I ever put on my pond rod
  10. 12lb Berkley 100% has never done me wrong
  11. If you're on a budget you should look at hawgtech's bearings!
  12. My PX is going on my 742
  13. Oh I'm jealous. I'd take it handle either side! That's a beaut.
  14. As far as boats go when I fished for ISU in the FLW event that I fished it was my partner and myself on a volunteer's boat. He donated his boat, fuel and time to us that day so we could compete. Now that's just one of the college series. I know there are some that require your own boat. Also to join the club all you had to do was pay your annual fee and attend meetings. I was a member in a very early stage of the club and got to pick an FLW tournament to fish. Now they have a broader base and I believe they have a points system they use to figure out who gets to fish the big tournaments. Keep in mind you will have to hold an active membership with either BASS or FLW in order to compete.
  15. The PX-R is indeed the latest, and my line is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. As for the fish, they're coming! Here are the rods:
  16. My Type R family got a little bigger today
  17. That green might compete with the recent purple Daiwa has released for accent colors.
  18. Take this with a grain of salt because I can't remember the source but I believe the reason for not having a clicking drag star, at least on finesse oriented reels, was to give a more infinite adjustment feeling. For instance you could go "half a click" instead of the whole adjustment between clicks.
  19. My thought process was if the 1016 will work then the 1000 should as well. If not I'll use the 1016 or continue using the Steez 100 spool that's in the reel now.
  20. ^^^ Also curious about this. I just bought the SV1000 and will either slide that or the 1016 out of my T3 into my Ito.
  21. My pflueger president rod and reel combo was $60.
  22. I like rapala xrap08s in clown. That's one of my confidence baits.
  23. Keep your eyes open. I just picked up a PX-R for a little over $50 out of pocket after gift cards and discounts. It was listed as a right handed reel in a left handed box and therefore knocked down another $20!
  24. That's a sharp looking IP. Looking to add one to my collection as well.
  25. DSG is doing 25% off and free shipping. Some exclusions
