  1. Overall I'd say a bomber model 6A in Tenessee Shad.
  2. Jig. Pepperjigs 1/4 ounce in green pumpkin with a green pumpkin rage chunk.
  3. I don't have a huge problem, when a good fish takes my frog I usually get him. I just wait for about a second. Putting some megastrike on the frog helps too so they hold on longer.
  4. My experience was that it's brittle junk.
  5. Are you using braid?
  6. I rinse my hands off and use megastrike on my lures after sunblocking up. Should be NO problem.
  7. Dynamic lures makes a pair of great glasses for about $30. Are they as good as the more expensive ones? No. But in the price range they are unbeatable.
  8. Jig, creature, senko, spinnerbait, popper, spook, buzzbait, frog, crankbait, fluke.
  9. It needs lighter line IMO. Try 8 pound test.
  10. Use a fast ratio reel and heavier line (no lighter than 12 pound test for even 1/4 ounce buzzbaits) and a slower action rod. Cast out and reel in fast enough to keep the bait on top, but as slow as possible while still keeping it gurgling on the surface. My advice is to get some cavitron buzzbaits, they are better than all the others.
  11. BPS PQ, Lew's Speed Spool, Lew's Lazer Speed Spool
  12. My two favorite colors are natural green and black. I have a couple of each in the normal size, the junior, and the popper.
  13. They have not gotten good reviews. The defects have to be fixed.
  14. 1. Spinnerbait 2. Jig
  15. I wait till the fish takes it completely then a short, sharp snap. I also use a slower glass rod with buzzbaits and that helps a lot.
  16. Original Lunker Lure - The original buzzbait Mr. Twister, original curly tail X - Rap Rapala Original Minnow Shad Rap
  17. Bomber Square A, KVD 1.5, Norman Fat Boy and Mad N, and the Excalibur.
  18. The skitterpop will do what you want, especially with a little slack in the line, the line close to the top of the tie, and a pull rather than snap, especially when you reel a quarter crank while pulling. The blurp and bloop just catches them better than a splash or spray/spit.
  19. Deer Creek and Jordanelle Reservoirs but they are best from a boat, as well as Pelican near Vernal and Starvation near Utah. Pelican has good largemouth fishing, the rest are primarily smallmouth though Jordanelle has largemouth too.
  20. I will fish a 1/4 ounce spinnerbait on as light as 10 pound mono, usually 12 - 14 though. Bigger, heavier baits can be thrown on heavier line up to 20 pound test for mono.
  21. Yep it certainly works.
  22. They are the absolute best jigs and spinnerbaits on the market, bar none! No brand has caught more bass for me the last three years.
  23. I haven't had to tune any KVD cranks yet at all.
  24. They have killed a few in Ridgway already. Fished the Yampa last year, my wife and I caught 67 smallies and 19 pike. Half the smallies were a pound or better we got 20 in the 2 - 4 pound range. Biggest pike was 38" smallest 22". Best reach of the Yampa is from Hayden to the Green River with the Craig area the very best.
