  1. it is a 2 part just like devcon. yeah I do, might have to revamp it a bit. its not handling 30 ounces+ of baits at a time very well
  2. Thanks again guys! Ronnie, with all the big baits being brought in from overseas and mass produced, I wanted to throwback to the style of the original big baits. Hand made, garage style. The only things that I buy are owner stingers, split rings and screw eyes. I carve the gills in with a knife, not a dremel (even though I have a couple ) I hand make my own 3D eyes, tie my own feathers, pool test and balance every bait, and basically just put a bunch of myself into every one of them. The guys like Matt(lures), Mickey (3:16), and Ken (Huddleston) are an inspiration to do it the right way, by hand, in America! I built the first one about 2.5 years ago when there wasn't anything like it on the market. But they have improved a bit since then . These and 8 more are already sold, to a new online shop, so I'll be getting started on some more tomorrow I haven't forgot about you either, when I ship that rod back to you, there will be one of these in your choice of size and color in the tube.

  6. I hear good things about the King Kong, but I have not fished it. For bass that dont see many big baits I am sure it will do well. I fish regular baits pretty often. There is a pretty decent article on big bait rods on this site

  21. Alright guys, so far I have received baits from Dsaavedra, Infidel, Brokejew, and someone else whose username I don't know. Not in a rush at all, since I don't know when I will be able to do it, but if you sent me baits a long time ago and are not oneof the guys listed above, something has gone wrong. I have painted a few, but I am going to do them in batches of colors, not batches of sender. So it might be awhile
  22. I have to spend time with every swimbait I get. I mean take it out in the pool and test it, look over every square inch, and just handle it. I will sit here reading BR and spend an hour checking out a particular bait. I will NEVER make my first cast until I put a fresh chew in. I have to modify or tweak every big bait I own in some fashion, EVERY single one, I don't know why. I hope to come close to hitting a deer on the way to the lake. If deer are on the road, it usually means big fish. I trash talk the fish, trying to aggravate them into biting. I like hitting land bound creatures with hollow body frogs. The species list is extensive.
