When I was in Wyoming me and 4 of my buddies had a bit of a tradition going. We would get hammered on Saturday night, wake up around 10, and drive 64 miles one way to Walden, Colorado to have a 1lb Owl Burger at the only restaraunt in the podunk town. Nothing cures a hangover like 1 full pound of greasy hamburger.

Screw California. I think most people's idea of the fishing out here is soooooo over inflated. I want to move BAD. For bass fishing, I would go to Texas, but I dont think bass fishing is even a consideration for my next move. I'm thinking of going back to Colorado, but a completely different part of the state from where I grew up.

Since I am hard headed and love my tint, I payed the $140 and kept the tint instead of having it removed and paying the $10 fix-it ticket, lol. But theyll pop you there for sure. Ask them for an itemized estimate and compare prices of OEM parts online. Unless you were getting 4 new rotors, the brake job is over priced. the 60k would depend largely on what they do. quickly pulled off of a volvo forum: Replace Oil & Filter Change Air Cleaner Filter Change Replace Spark Plugs Replace pollen Filter Then they just inspect a bunch of stuff and would charge you more for parts and labor. Since I know for a fact that you are male, you should be able to change three filters, add oil, and replace plugs. Dont know how much parts would cost but it couldnt be more than $150

Even when I am fly fishing, I cant bring myself to wear a fishing vest. For the 1% of people that do not fall under the blanket cast by this next statement, I apologize ;D Everytime I see someone wearing a fishing vest I think " What a yuppie/ wannabe/tool. With some of my fly waters so close to the bay area, you get a LOT of guys with high end Sages, $400 dollar waders, ornate vests, and the thousands of dollars worth of accessories decorating their person. These are the guys that have no idea what they are doing, but really want to seem like they do. Most typically they drive a subaru wagon or a Range. I dont bother talking to these people. Id rather wear a manny pack and wet wade then be lumped in with those jackasses. Its the guys driving the beat up truck, with a ratty chest pack and faded waders, that are carrying the high end sage, those are the guys I want to talk fishin with. Did it ever quit working for a time? The first time, I let it dry for 2 days without turning it on. After that, i usually let it dry for 8 hours - 24 hours and it would work. I got it working an hour after a full submersion one time.

As many have mentioned, the memory on 25 and 30lb CXX is no joke. If you use 20lb, you need a 300 size reel, for 25 and 30 a 400 is a must. KVD L&L really helps, but it has spurred some serious doubts for me in the knot strength category. Personally, I just deal with the memory, because the other attributes are soooooo worth it. Down around freezing, its a slinky,but at 60ish, its plenty manageable given the size of the baits. As soon as it soaks up with water, and you pull on a couple of snags, it will settle down for the rest of the day.

I dropped/submerged the same phone in water 6 times last summer and fall. It still works. I will have to try the rice trick next time.

Ive done the beer bottle trick a ton of times when I was a teen ager, hadnt thought about it in forever until a buddy mentioned it last week. Its a good party trick.

20, 25, and 30 lb Pline CXX. I keep trying other crap and suffering the consequences. Using other stuff I have casted off, broke off fish, and broke off on snags way too easy, for a grand total of about $300 worth of baits and fish big enough to choke 8oz baits > I was fortunate enough to get three identical baits, that are not available to purchase, only guy with them in NorCal, and I have casted 2 of them off in 2 weeks. Thanks alot Trilene Big Game, and Braid/leader. I will never try a different line again.
