  1. These are standing timbers, in about 10' give or take.
  2. There is a resivoir I just started fishing and there is plenty of it. How would you go about fishing it.

Yeah, after the first lift on the way down. Felt pressure, and swung for the fence. Almost fell in when I went to sit down to lip it. Left my seat on the lowest position instead of the raised setting which I have it set at when I'm standing.

I like the way Monksville is set with the three different boat ramps to launch from, so you don't have to paddle a load trying to get back to shore. You can kind of stay in the vicinity of the ramp.

Caught on a PBJ Rage Tail Structure Bug, with a 3/4 Oz tungsten flippn' weight, both from Siebert, and a VMC HD flippn' hook.

Caught my first mat flippn' bass at a new to me fishing spot, and it was one of those "nothing is biting and I'm paddeling in, but let me stop at this nice floating mat and flip my Structure Bug into it one last time". Supposedly this resivoir is tough to fish, why it is fondly known as "Skunksville" Resivoir instead of its real name Monksville Resivoir. I figured with the blue bird skies, and temp drop I wasn't gonna catch anything.
  7. Nice, you'll really like it.

You have to really whip that frog to get it to snap the braid. A hollow body frog doesn't weigh that much.
  9. Thanks, yeah I know where its located, I've been wanting to make a Kayak fishing trip out there. It's about 45 min from where I'm at.
  10. You can try Cabelas Fish Eagle 50, they come in a 6' MHF.
  11. What lake you at in the second pic, not the local pond.
  12. Everything pertaining to water is polluted in Nj. Conservation is making it cleaner, but there is a long way to go. I wouldn't eat anything out of the bodies of water around here yet unless it's from the ocean.
  13. I'm gonna have to try that.
  14. I probably change out my arkies for these.

    The "BigBill" knot...
  16. just got me some tungsten flippn' weights and a couple of packs of some structure bugs from Siebert.
  17. I recommend Siebert Outdoors Jigs. Go ahead and PM him and he will point you in the right direction.

I use the Trilene knot, and never had a problem.
  19. Check out Mythic dry suits, they have some descent prices.
  20. Tested my new yak mod, the Railblaza Mobi mounted on the Uni-Trak Accessory Mount, and it worked pretty good. Better
  21. It worked out pretty good...
  22. You right wrong big word... , but what you said . It's all a matter of what you prefer. I'm not worried about getting to a spot fast, but it is good if your on a new body of water especially a large one. The Lure is actually fast enough on a calm day, it just sucks when you have to paddle back to the launch with the wind blowing in your face... That's the only time the wind likes to pick up for some reason.
  23. Added this today. Now I can take pics hands free, and maybe listen to some music on my Galaxy S5. Don't have to worry about water screwing up my phone, it's waterproof.
  24. If you gonna do a lot of standing when fishing like I do, the Lure is the way to go, if you are gonna do more sitting when fishing, or need to get to a spot fast (which in a yak I think is redundant) get the Jackson. Yes the Lure is wide, and can be pig to paddle long distance against a breeze but it's good exercise. On calm days it paddles nicely.
