Based on the size of the very small picture I'd say .25 lbs, and that's a generous guess.

This year I caught my PB. It was larger than any lmb I ever really expected to catch in NY. I have pretty much solely been fishing for LMB the last 2 years. I fish because it's relaxing but I also give myself a goal, to catch the biggest fish of whatever species I am targeting. After catching this hog, fishing for lmb just doesn't seem the same. I feel like I have peaked. So I decided I am finally going to start targeting other species, mainly trout and small mouth bass neither which I have ever caught. Lucky for me I have multiple creeks within a couple miles of my house that are stocked with browns and have smallies as well. So I just wanted to give a huge thanks to everyone who have replied to my posts furthering my fishing ventures and introducing me to SWIMBAITS! My largemouth addiction is finally over, now time to splurge on light tackle and maybe a fly rod.

All my bass over 5lbs+ were caught between 1-3 in the afternoon. At sunset I catch way more fish but they are also smaller.

No, because fishing is a passion of mine. I would never want to feel pressured to pull in fish to pay my bills. Second question YES, I am the best fisherman I know in person and I believe if I entered tournaments I would win.

12 setups feels overwhelming just reading about it lol. I think your giving yourself to many choices it's driving you mental. Like Mr. Block said, try bringing 2 setups with you and focus on using all of 3-4 baits throughout the day. When I go I take 2 setups with me one bait caster rigged with a swimbait, and one spinning rod I use for frogs, top water poppers, and crank baits. On days I'm not feeling swimbaits i'll leave the swimbait rod at home and bring my texas rig setup with me along with the spinning setup. Stick with a small selection of setups and fish the hell out of it, I don't think how many setups really matters vs presenting a single bait using multiple different presentations to the same spot over and over again. Hell i'll fish the same spot around 10 times before I get a fish to bite. For me it's all about trying multiple depths and presentations using the same bait over and over again. I only had one, caught my new Large Mouth PB. I did so with flying colors topping the scales with a guesstimate of a little over 9lbs dare say double digit territory. Up here in NY bass that size are just unheard of, hell the state record is only 11lbs. So I set myself some new goals, catch a smallmouth bass and a trout for the first time use strictly artificial baits, lol

I seriously have to start fishing in areas with these guys. I have never caught a small mouth to date. Nice catch man!

Good to know FlyFisher, as locking is a huge selling point for me. I pretty much lip a fish to remove the hook, I tried the squeeze behind the head method once but I think I may have squeezed to hard because the fish started peeing.

Do the fishgrips lock when you squeeze or do you have to have constant pressure on the handles to keep the lip gripped?

Again, when I have ever stated no one else can find what I found? Your asking me a question about something I never stated. The point is I took the time to circle a lake and fish every possible spot available to me. Most people pick a spot somewhere easily accessible and fish there for hours never leaving or trying a different spot because they have 0 initiative and they really don't care. In my last post I tried to make it as OBVIOUS as possible that I don't think I'm the only one who fishes these prime locations. Are you just looking to argue at this point?

Maybe some of you misunderstood me. I DID find them, I took the time to fish every part of a lake and found certain areas that are more active than other areas. Not once did I imply no one else fishes there but me, but I can see how my wording might of confused some of you. In my mind those are my prime spots I found them and I wont just tell every passerby to go fish them because they aren't catching jack diddly..... Edit: If everyone knew about them and fished there all the time they wouldn't be prime spots now would they? Or do you guys really believe Honey Holes don't exist and are just a figment of one's imagination?

I'll show them what I use and make recommendations. I would never show another Fisherman my 'Honey Holes'. Those are mine, they took me a long time to find and I wouldn't just easily give it away nor would I ever ask another fisherman where the fish are. Half the fun is in the hunt, in my opinion.
