  1. Massive cold front came through today so I decided not to fool with any bass.......14.5" crappie was the largest of many for me. And my little brother caught a 13" yellow perch
  2. I'm VERY particular about my fishing habits I guess you could say, if my leader is too short, I'm tying on a new one, one leg rips off of the craw on my jig trailer? New one. One tiny nick in my line? Knot feels like it didn't cinch down correctly? I'm retying. Fish looks like he's hooked really well just swing him in? Nope, get the net! My little brother on the other hand tends to stick with the idea of things being "good enough". If his leader is down to 1.5' hes still gonna fish it and not retie, and with me being so nit picky it's just painful to watch. Especially when he loses a fish because of something! So he's "that guy". Sometimes I make him stop fishing so I can re-rig whatever hes using. He's 16 and I'm 18 so it's not like I have to be his babysitter, I just can't handle watching people fish in a mediocre way. This then makes me "that guy" to all of my friends and family, since I'm so nit picky about my fishing stuff
  3. Lol I'm still learning what I'm looking at on the black and white Lowrance X-4 Pro on my kayak that I've been using for 3 years. I've messed with some nice units on bass boats as well and it's incredibly complex stuff (not just the side scan), it really makes you appreciate what tournament anglers do when they just idle around for hours during practice.
  4. "How many comments can I get about the weight if I post a pic with the scale facing away from the camera?" Nice fish!
  5. Don't put a circle hook in it and send it back out. I promise nothing would happen. Overall a bad idea, nothing eats trout besides people.
  6. Field And Stream Tec-Lite 6'0" Light or UL, shimano 1000 reel of your choice (the $25 sienna does just fine for me). Spool it with 4lb or 6lb seguar red label fluorocarbon.
  7. Bassresource is my social media! No facebook, twitter, or instagram for me. I do have a fishing blog if you wanna give that a look, most of the stuff on there gets posted here anyways though. http://everythingthatswims.blogspot.com/
  8. Gorgeous fish! Digging the setup too BTW
  9. They were in 1-2FOW, the backs of pockets and coves were up to 4 degrees warmer than the main lake, and bass knew it. Even a 4" senko spooked them. Ended up slow rolling a weightless 4" swing impact, and it turned out pretty well!
  10. Slack between pops, and floating line either mono or braid. Super spook jr. is a KILLER!!
  11. That's like 4-5 brand new setups for a goldfish!
  12. PB Largemouth 25" ??lbs PB Smallmouth 23" 4.2lbs
  13. I hear ya on that one. Only happens when I upload directly from my phone. If I send the image from my phone to my email, then download it, then upload it, it never is sideways.
  14. One thing you see in the world of high end swimbaits is good customer service. Glad he is taking care of the issue. Keep catching!
  15. Lol no one is throwing the same flat sided crank on here
  16. @Turtle135 Knows that the actual fishing isn't the tiring part!
  17. Looks like a 6 to me good job! Looks like you pulled her out of some chocolate milk too. Long arming is fine, makes the fish look great! Exaggerating about the size of a bass is where the problems begin
  18. Yes, my friend made them to go along with all of the hype that fish created lol. You wouldn't believe how many times yesterday I heard "hey, aren't you that kid?"
  19. We all know that pink rattle traps catch 13lbers
  20. I'd say one out of four fish I caught today had black splotches.
