  1. I've caught smallies on BIG swimbaits. They'll eat it. Smallmouth LOVE small eels and lampreys so I think a big worm would be good. I catch lots of 12-15" largemouth on magnum ol monsters, so a 9" worm should be no problem for smallmouth.
  2. I want a Catch 22 jerkbait clinic
  3. I won't buy one online unless I have held one before or it's marked wayyyy down on TW
  4. Slowly twitch jigs in the current while keeping them close to the bottom, or drift baits with as little weight as you can get away with.
  5. 5" senko... A 10"er can eat it just fine. So can a 10lber.
  6. If I can find them in shallow, stained water in winter or early spring, the little rebel floater minnow kills them. My previous PB was caught on that bait, she was 24" long and hit about the 10th time I ran it through a laydown I always catch fish out of. First week of March 3 years ago. Aaaaaand I just found one at wal mart in old packaging that I assume just never sold, it's chrome sexy Shad that I don't think they make anymore!
  7. I like Texas rigging the 4"ers with a 1/32-1/8oz bullet weight for clear water bass. I fish it like a ned rig.
  8. Yeah definitely don't combine a little swing impact and an underspin. I promise it doesn't work.
  9. There was actually a squatch using the spool on your president as a whistle to try and communicate with you
  10. I would think you're savvy enough with a fishfinder to put a drop shot on their nose??? I've done it with live baits for suspended stripers in cold water.
  11. If you're not catching them, I doubt anyone else is!
  12. Here he goes again
  13. Lately I've been running a coffee filter about 6" in front of my bait to collect the silt that is preventing bass from seeing it
  14. He wants to look like a big gizzard shad so baitfish don't feel threatened
  15. Haha no, I have friends with a pond that is full of them. As long as I have fresh bait I can catch them whenever I want!
  16. The spine in between the dorsals makes it look like a "hatchery defect" too. I don't know anything about white bass though, body shape sure does look like a white bass, but the lines don't.
  17. "My PB: Between 0-1lbs"
  18. Some of those fish had me wincing! One violent headshake when your hand is too close and you have a huge set of trebles sunk deep with a ticked off fish on the other end AND you're in the middle of the jungle!
  19. Fished in the SNP for some wild trout today. Had a blast!
  20. Bieber has upset a lot of people on the water who thought they could fish
  21. I know what depths all my baits dive.......Must not have enough yet
