When my 7 yr. old grandson first saw the pros fishing on tv he thought they were racer car drivers.

I had a 1985 PT that got some bad fuel. I have an electric fuel pump that I used. I took out the fuel sender from the top of the tank and used a fuel line hose connected to the fuel pump and pumped the bad stuff into a fuel can. Added some Fresh fuel with dry gas and shook the boat around as much as I could and let it set for a day and pumped it down again. Any other questions just let me know.

Mine was my radio designator when I was a Deputy Chief. I started using it then and have kept it in retirement.

Time for that fellow to move on. It sounds like he has a handful with the wife and it certainly isn't helping the kids being in a relationship like that. Vacation with the guy neighbor? Wake up man!

Not to hijack the thread, but my grandson who is 7 and I were watching Bass Pros fishing on TV and he thought the Pros were race car drivers because of their sponsor shirts. He would love to have a shirt like that to wear when he fishes with me. Kids are great! Anyone know where I could get something like that? I picked up some assorted patches at BP, but need something better than just that. Thanks!

I got a 2005 Chevy 3500 dually 4x4. It has the Duramax diesel, Edge tuner, banks exhaust, Rancho shocks, Air Bags, Helwig Big Rig Sway Bar and an Allison Trans. Can haul lots of stuff!

Got the Shied and Saver bracket, but no way it is going to work. It is to long and the angle of the tm skeg keeps me from being able to move it far enough forward to clear the prop. I will have to give them a call today and see what they advise.

Welcome to the forum. I spend early May thru October just south and east of Syracuse. Lots of great fishing in the NY lakes and streams.

I can pick up a new in the box Curado 220G6 for $115 to my door. Is it worth it? Can anyone give me the pros/cons of the reel and how it stacks up to other brands? Thanks! Gary

Spoke with the folks at Transducer Shield and Saver. It appears they add a small spacer block to the top of the transducer bracket that allows for sufficient room to keep from hitting the prop. Cost an additional 8.95. Got it all headed my way. Thanks for the help! Gary

I just ordered a HB998c HD SI to put on the bow. I'm sticking with the cheap Lowrance I got with my 2013 190 Pro Team package at the console for now. I spoke with the HB rep and I can still use the GPS even when I have the trolling motor out of the water so I should be able to see it ok from the console. WNY, I have only fished Oneida once, but just bought a place on De Ruyter Lake late 2012. Plan on trailering the boat to many of the lakes in the area to try my luck. Any particular months better than others at Oneida Lake? Gary

Thanks for that info. I was hoping to be able to put a Shield and Saver on it. Any idea if they will work with the larger transducer on the Edge trolling motor?

I'm getting ready to drop the bucks on a HB 998cHD SI that comes with the XHS-9-HDSI-180-T Transducer. I have a MK Edge trolling motor. I can't seem to find an answer to whether the transducer will mount to the trolling motor and if it will what bracket is being used. Put a call into Transducer Shied and Saver and can't seem to get a call back. Any info/advice will be appreciated. Pics would really be great. Thanks! Gary

Dropped it off this morning at a highly rated Mercury repair shop, not the place I purchased. First thing they ask is did you buy the boat here? No, you don't sell Bass Trackers why? Answer, we will have to take care of any boats we sold first. WHAT? Is this not a warrantee issue you are getting paid for? He told me 1 to 2 days to fix it. We shall see!

Potomac, Any reason you decided to go with the Lowrance instead of the HB 899ci with side imaging? I looked hard at both and the Lowrance seemed to require additional equipment for the Side Scan and was more expensive. Am I missing something? Gary

I usually put some grease in the BB, but finish it off with the gun.
