At this, level....Shimano over Supreme

I use a 7'1" heavy/ fast ***, I like it... You might find it in a medium/ fast for you're listed wieghts. They have pretty good balance and great feel, much better than any mojo.

I use presidents and shimano, but you know the old adage , more you spend the more/ better the piece ... I can't answer you're question, of you're choices ..president... Coming from a 404 heck a trion would probably make you happy...pres. Over Sedona for sure though then right on up the Shimano line!

Yea, it's often real difficult to find, I've been there, there is at least a trifle bit of expansion and contraction... I believe you will locate it though, thru sheer determination. Good luck on it!

Rivets can and Do leak, not saying that's you're issue, but it has to be considered. Hairline cracks are also probable in aluminum. Sometimes bigger than hairline...

Sorta sounds like battery memory.... I always pushed 15 amp.... While having dual battery's disconnected from all electronics/ TM...also, it seems like on deep cycle I don't ever remember getting more than a couple years.... Only got good life on my big engine / depth finder batt. There is really good tech. out now.... At a steep price.

Buy a different brand, salvage you're trip, if possible , doesn't have to cost much... Get yourself a Plueger trion or president spinner, save your trip... Then decide on you're broken reel, later... Good luck......

*** Black is a good rod for the money, I use all shimano reels, so I can't recommend those you listed, because I simply have not used them I use a 7'1" heavy fast ***.
