  1. Hey guys I've been think about how to make some baits I've schemed up in my head while keeping it as cost effective as possible. If I were to mold a senko just to get a decent cavity form what would be the best way to sculpt the inside to what I want. I was thing a dremel with one of the cord extensions. I'd get a very fine tip to put on it and just slowly make the marks and shapes I wanted. Would this be the best way?
  2. Jerk bait, flat sides cranks, some type of shaky head. Also will fish deeper staging prespawners with a sk structure jig.
  3. I'd like to give it a go. I'm already registered just need some league info.
  4. What's everyone tie on? I personally like and firmly believe in Trokars. My buddies can't stand them and are gama users. I know it's ford vs Chevy but what hook and why?
  5. Does and company make any worms that are similar to the old jaw techs? I'm not sure of the name but it was ribbed all the way to the g type tail. Caught a lot of fish on them over the years but have started to run out.
  6. What all is involved with injecting besides the obvious? Another reason for wanting to get into it beside bringing my own ideas to life is recreating a worm no longer made for my personal use. And it happens to be ribbed.
  7. Where would be the best place for me to order plastic to make my own wrms with?
  8. I don't know why I didn't post this there. But while someone who has done it with plaster if Paris has looked in on the subject. How would this type work if I wanted to make a mold for a worm that is ribbed all the way to the tail?
  9. Hey guys is there any easy way to make a mold for plastic worm baits? I have a few 'good' concepts that I think could really produce in my area and would like to make some and see how they do. Any help is much appreciated.
  10. A trokar 4/0 or 5/0 will be what I rig them on. I'm not big in the screw lock type keepers. Hopefully they will perform in the willow trees as good as the ole monster.
  11. Best looking finesse bait I've seen is a missile baits fuse 4.4 ... They look awesome!
  12. The ole monster is one of my staples. I just like having a few options and those happen to be cheaper which is another plus to them.
  13. Has anyone got a chance to use these? If so what results have you seen? What kind if movement do they you get on short hops?
  14. Has anyone had a chance to use these rods. I'm going to get a new cranking rod in the next two weeks and I am looking at the 7'6 medium heavy. Are they worth the money or should I look at a different band. Also looked at the basspro cranking rod.
  15. To me down imaging is definitely worth the little extra. It's the difference in wondering what that might be and knowing oh it's a layer down tree with a few fish suspended over it.
  16. I like the zoom lizards for what you can buy now. I have some old floating lizards that strike king made that are still my favorite. I run them normally on 1/4 or 3/8 ounce weight depending on how I'm fishing them. Unpegged so that they can kinda 'float' if you will.
  17. I didn't have any set goals either. I just told myself I want to have my best year yet and I definitely did. I caught more and more big fish than any year in the past. Even caught one in the 10+ range. An really learned a lot about fishing grass. If I were to set a goal for next year it would be learn more about fishing deep cranks and just deep in general.
