  1. Ollies in Rochester also some great deals I actually picked up a berkley lighting rod for 15$ and a bunch of cranks for 2.50 each.
  2. Hey guys, quick question. I want to line both my spinning reels with Yo Zuri this year. 1. 7'MH/F with a okuma trio 5.0:1 for worms and jigs 2. 7' M/f with a Okuma trio s30 6.4:1 for everything else.(topwater, cranks, etc) I also have a drop shot rod with 7lb sunline and a winch of a baitcaster for deep cranking. My question is what size line would you put on and is yo Zuri the way to go or should I try braid with floro leaders. Ps I'm in CT where they don't get much bigger then 6lbs. And do you think my presentations are good or should I switch something around? Thanks
  3. WELCOME! Do you usually fish from a boat or the bank?
  4. Just saw a guy fishing the CT river in North Haven on Sackett Point rd.
  5. CT Walmarts never have fishing stuff on clearance. Maybe you'll get a .25¢ off sale on some Rapalas.
  6. So I'm not the only one slowly rolling past lakes.
  7. What's everyone this k of yo Zurich hybrid?
  8. Wow that's very disapointing. I bought the reel off of a BR member in the flea market. I emailed BPS and they sent me a part list. Do you guys think it could be fixed if I get the brakes. Are all breaks universal? Thanks for everything!
  9. Was just at Gander Mountain in Rochester NY. Had a bunch of Rapala cranks on sale for 3.5O and somegooddeals on soft plastics. I also picked up a 3700 series Gander Mountain soft sided tackle bag on sale for $50, half price.

  13. I hope I dont come off as a fool but I can't find any tabs that want to move. Thanks
  14. This is my first baitcaster and I'm having a little trouble. I can't seem to adjust the brakes. The pins look up to me. I tried moving them down but they won't budge. It's a BPS bassmaster pro bsm1000h 6.3:1 Thanks Brian

  19. Kinda like a basketball Mt. Rushmore without Russell.
  20. Hey Ken I might take you up on that one day. Did anyone else here that classic runner up Paul Mueller is from Southbury? Way to go Paul!
  21. I just found out Paul lives about 25 mins away from me in CT. We don't have many pro anglers in these parts, its cool to have a guy from here. I might have a new favorite pro lol. As for Howell he seems like a cool down to earth guy who was very deserving of the win.
  22. I know how you feel my fishing buddies and family think i'm crazy. Finding this place was like landing that 1st big bass, you just want more. I'd say at least two + hrs. My routine will vary but I usually check the forums throught out the day when ever i get a chance, then I usually do my posting late at night before bed.
