Can't believe Hartwell didn't make it.

Lake Hartwell is my home lake. I love it!! It does have a lot of blueback herring. I have been catching bass on topwater worms on Hartwell. Going this weekend with my dad. I will inform you.

My grandma has them at her dock. My papa jack would buy dog food in the green bag. Not the kind for dogs but I think it's like rational or something put it on a Aberdeen hook. Works like magic. We used corn sometimes too.

I sometimes will see a bass follow my bait and I will just stop it and they will strike.

I'm with the other people on setting the hook badly. I set the hook on a carp when I was 8 or 9. Fell in the water. Then reeled it in while in the water put the fish on the dock then got out.

This site has been help to me too. Even though I don't always fish for largemouth, it helps me with the right mind set and the all around way to think like a fish.

It's in the shop and I also just wanted to know if others with the same boat as me used it.

I try not to leave that hobby but fishing and racing season are at the same time. The prime days to fish are the days I go to the race track. Friday and Saturday are hometown tracks where my family races and Sunday it's nascar on TV. My hobby of hunting is still here.Hunt in winter fish and race in spring and summer.

Last year early spring I started Jig fishing as a goal. I never used a trailer at first. About mid summer I started using trailers sometimes. I noticed I caught more with a trailer. By early fall I used a trailer all the time. I now use a trailer with any jig. Even my striper buck tail jig.

It's a 16 foot boat. Anyone know how long the rod locker is? I just got my first bass boat and it's an 88 glasstream.

I fish for bass from a striper boat when I'm with my buddy. It's ok to fish from I just like bass fishing from a bass boat. In a bass boat I can fish for striper, crappie, bass, bluegill, and much more. I prefer a bass boat for all types of fishing.

Drop the fish in egg. Then put them in flour. Then put some old bay or seasoning on it. Throw it in a pan of canola oil. BAM!

I wondered the same during this weekend. I was striper and bass fishing and my uncle insisted on a radio. We caught them like crazy when it was off. When we turned it on they stopped. I do believe it was because of the bite shut off. I'm interested to know too.
