  3. You feel free to vent BPS seems to bring it out in me sometimes as well. As far as the time share issue do what I do walk around looking mad all the time everybody leaves you alone. One thing I have noticed about BPS is there BPS product line is not very good quality. It does not seem to hold up very well hooks, jig heads, soft baits, etc. Before any anyone tells to stop being a cheap skate and buy the good stuff I am learning this on my own which brings up another issue I have with BPS THERE SALES ARE NEVER SALES I have my catalog from the winter, my bass catalog and my classic sales paper and the prices are the same other than the trade in deal. Ok I am venting now

  8. 25 or not makes my 5lb bass look like bait
  9. Just seeing if anyone is out there who fishes lake Chesdin or the upper Appomattox river ( aka the old river). This is my home lake just started bass fishing a couple years ago and I have had some luck on the lake 1 or 2 fish a day. I hear stories of guys having big days but don't you dare ask for help or advice it must be top secret information. The only thing I get is the lake is stressed. The lake does go threw sever changes from year to year between droughts and very high water levels I wonder how much that effects the basses habits because where I have had luck before and where others have had luck it seems as if the fish just have moved on.
  10. That's great, beats what I do. Wish you the best of luck

  13. Glad you are ok. And thanks for all the shared stories I just started bass fishing a couple years ago with a friend and I never wear a PFD but my next purchase before I get my butt back on that bass boat will be a PFD. Thanks for the lesson without me having to learn it the hard way.
  14. LMB is my mother in laws favorite fish to eat so she hates it when I C&R she keeps her bass and her bother brings her some Georgia. My wife's favorite is blue gill and me personally I like all kind of fish.
  15. Started sometime in the early 70's fishing lakes, ponds, creeks, rivers, the bay for any thing that would bite and we could eat if my dad thought we could catch any thing we would have fished mud puddles also. How ever I just started sport fishing for bass it's foreign to me to release perfectly good food. But I do it.
  16. Thanks for the input. I'm sure I will have more questions in the future it's nice to have a place you can go to for answers. I have been reading articles and watching videos from this site for awhile and it is very informative. it seems when you ask someone on the water you would thank you were asking for something that's TOP SECRETE..
  17. I just started bass fishing a couple years ago and acquired 8 spinner and buzz baits from a friend but most of the skirts need to be replaced. My question is what is the basic type and colors I should start with. The river and lake I fish is more on the stained side then clear side. Any advice would be appreciated Richard.
