This is great advice for us beginners. Another thing I found that helps is to seek out advice from anglers in your area they can guide you to the best bait and techniques for the waters you fish. This will help you catch fish quickly and boost your confidence and that is very importing to all who fish

The birds, tree frogs, crickets, squirrels and just the rustling of the leaves in the trees if you really listen that's real music. But that's just me. Come to think of it I don't remember ever encounter a bass fisher on the water listening to music

I wear glasses as well and I wear Solar Shield fit overs from Wal-Mart or walgreens they have many different sizes and lens colors cost about 20.00. I use amber polarized most the time but I do use polarized gray early morning when the sun is really bright

We had something similar happen on the lake I fish on last year. We had a lot of rain at the end of summer and it dropped the water temp 20 decrees over night and the shad started to die. The man from Game and Inland fishery told my wife and I that shad are very sensitive to sudden temp changes. It was the first time I ever seen that happen but that's was the reason we where given.

As the days get longer and warmer I sit here on my deck looking out on the lake and can not help but to wonder. Is This The Year Is this the year I top my personal best. Is this the year I find that new honey hole. Is this the year I explore a new lake or river. Is this the year I introduce someone to joy and frustration we call Bass Fishing. Is this the year I find that new go to bait. Is this the year I finally have success crank bait fishing. One thing I do know This is another year I will enjoy every moment I have on the water. This is another year I will enjoy every moment I get to fish with family and friends. I would like to wish all old friends and new friends good luck this year. See you on the water

I agree whole heartily. I love the look on the face of the guys that live by these charts when you ask them ( why didn't you catch anything ) but they always come up with a reason

Weather is going to great this week I think it has finally as turned but it is VA. weather changes from day to day We live about 20 minutes from where we have our camper on the lake and my wife and I are ready to start our spring, summer and fall routine which is living in the camper and fishing every weekend and evening when we can and only going to the house to wash clothes and cut grass. We are so ready

Very Very sick of it delaying my fishing time causing me to go broke, I work outside watching these stupid weather reporters standing out in the freezing cold, snow, sleet and freezing rain to show us what it is doing outside. I don't about you guys but I have windows in my house. However I see the light at end of tunnel, day light saving starts Saturday/Sunday it at least look like spring

I have a 29 cer Everstart from Wal-Mart cost about 89.00 and it pulls my 20 foot pontoon boat around all day with plenty of power

I to have a modified pontoon boat, only been bass fishing a couple of years just put a 400.00 trolling motor on the boat and it rocks.lol You have to look at the bright side. Gets to hot pop up the top and cool it in shade Real bass fishers pay no attention to you More on topic I backed the boat into the water got in the boat started the motor when I climbed out to finish backing it down while standing between the truck and boat looked up and noticed the back up lights were on.. After I stop shaking I thought holy crap that was stupid. Lesson learned SLOW DOWN AND PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU ARE DOING.
