Daiwa doesn't make a 7.1 I throw my frogs on a 7' 4" Tatula frog rod with a Tatula Type R and the most important part is the line I use 60lb Sunline fx2.

I would strongly suggest you don't fish a frog with mono. Get some braid

Get you a heavy powered rod, 60lb braid, good flipping hook and either a missle baits d bomb or RI sweet beaver and go to work flipping every tulle

Do you currently or have you ever owned a megabass rod? There simply amazing I have two and a poison adrena there's just something special about that JDM feel.
